Hot Hot Hot...a “Kimberly” story (F/f)

chapter one

Disclaimer: This story involves the spanking of a minor child by her mother.  If this is not your thing, then don’t read it.  This is an emotional story, so if you are here for a quick spanking only, then this is not the place for you.  Enjoy!

This story is dedicated to tamalie.

Regina felt like a single mother.  In essence she was, what with her husband abroad.  Mark was always traveling.  Regina hardly ever got to see him.  It seemed like years since she had seen him last.  But looking down at the toddler running around her feet, she knew it couldn’t have been that long ago.

Taylor had just turned a year old a few months before.  Of course Mark had flown in for the big birthday party.  They had had tons of people.  Everyone had a good time.  Especially Kimberly.  She was so happy to see her daddy.  Kimberly was five and had probably only seen him that many times in her young life.  Not really, but sometimes it seemed like that.

Jacklyn was on hand, too.  She always was.  Jacklyn was wonderful with the kids.  Regina had found the Scottish Nanny when Kimberly was three.  Jacklyn had gone to University already and was in the United States taking courses to become a Pediatric nurse.

It was great for Regina, too.  Knowing Jacklyn was there taking care of her kids, made going to work easier.  Regina taught third grade at a public school about half an hour from her house.  This year Kimberly was enrolled at the local elementary school, in all-day kindergarten.

Kimberly was a sweet girl, but very rambunctious.  Mark joked when he saw her that she could never sit still.  It was true, too.  When he had come in for Taylor’s birthday party, it was all Mark could do to keep Kimberly from running amok.  But they had had fun.

Regina comforted Kimberly after they watched the plane take off at the airport.  She couldn’t understand why her daddy couldn’t just stay home like her friends’ daddies.  Why he couldn’t just get in his car and go to work every day like most.  Regina couldn’t explain it to her because she didn’t understand either.

Mark did what he wanted or needed to do.  Regina had accepted it and dealt with it.  Now she just tried to make the best life for herself and her kids.  She looked around at the house she had made for them.  She thought she did a very good job.  It was a split-level house, with modest furniture.  They had an apartment off the den for Jacklyn.  There was also a finished basement, which was the girls’ playroom.  Off to the side was the laundry room.

Being a teacher was great for Regina.  Aside from the fact that she loved kids, she was off on weekends and all holidays, including the summer.  She was able to spend a lot of time with her children.  Not too many jobs offered such luxury.  And with having Jacklyn full time living in the house, Regina could stay for an occasional meeting and know her kids were well taken care of.

One morning, Regina was making pancakes.  Taylor sat in her highchair eating the cheerios on the tray.  Kimberly watched her mother.  “Can’t I help? I know how to do it!” she whined.

“No, baby, the stove is hot.  I don’t want you near the burners.”  Regina flipped the pancake in the frying pan.

As she turned to smile at her kids, Kimberly jumped up and ran over.  “I can do that, Mama, watch!”  She reached for the spatula that Regina had just lain down.

But Regina was quick.  She grabbed the spatula and Kimberly’s wrist.  She put down the spatula and smacked Kimberly’s hand once.  {Smack!}  The little girl looked shocked for a minute and then said, “Owwww, Maaamaaa!”  She started to cry.

Regina bent down to Kimberly’s level and said, “I’m sorry I had to do that, Kimberly Nicole, but you must NEVER come near the stove.  It is hot and very dangerous, and Mama does not want you to get hurt.  Do you understand?”

Kimberly massaged the back of her hand with her other hand.  In truth, Regina had not smacked her that hard, just enough to send a signal to the little girl that this particular behavior was not going to be tolerated.  Regina looked down at her daughter and waited for an answer.

Kimberly nodded.  “Yes, Mama.”

“I want you to promise me that you will not come near the oven at all.  And I especially do not want to see you touching it.”

Kimberly nodded again.  “Yes, ma’am.”

“Okay, now go sit down.  The pancakes are ready.”  Regina put three large pancakes on Kimberly’s plate and smiled as the little girl put butter and syrup on each one.

Jacklyn overheard the conversation.  She was about to come into the room when she heard Regina’s warning.  She was going to go in and scold Kimberly but did not want to step on Regina’s toes.  She was glad they both had the same ideas about discipline.

Jacklyn remembered the first time she had spanked Kimberly.  She was afraid Regina would be upset.  But Regina had just nodded and patted Jacklyn on the back.  “Thank you for doing that.  She really needed it.”  Jacklyn smiled at the memory and then went into the kitchen.

“Good morning, ladies,” she said smiling.

“Morning, Jacklyn,” Regina said.  “Would you like some pancakes? There’re a lot left.”

“Sure, thank you, Regina.”  The two women got along very well.  They were good friends.  Regina had a few years on Jacklyn but not too many.  They spent a lot of time together, with Mark being away.  They often stayed up way too late talking.  They had a lot of things in common.  It was nice to have a good friend.

Jacklyn looked at Kimberly.  “You’re not going to say good morning to me, little miss?”

“Mornin,” Kimberly mumbled.

Regina raised her eyebrow but said nothing.  They ate in silence.  Jacklyn knew it was time to get up when all of Taylor’s pancakes were on the floor.  “Okay, lilone, let’s get you cleaned up.”

She picked Taylor up out of the highchair.  Turning to Kimberly, she said, “Go clean your teeth and comb your hair.  Then put your shoes on.  The school bus will be here in ten minutes.  And don’t dawdle!” she called as Kimberly ran up the stairs.  Regina went to finish getting ready for work.

That afternoon when Kimberly arrived home from school, Jacklyn was baking cookies in the kitchen.  Taylor was sitting in her highchair again messily spooning some yogurt into her mouth.  Jacklyn just laughed at the site of her and knew one little girl who would definitely be going into the bathtub that night.

Kimberly went over and kissed her little sister on the side of the head.  She saw her hands and bib covered with yogurt.  “Yuck!” she told Taylor.  Kimberly sat down at the kitchen table.  “I’m hungry!” she announced.

Jacklyn just looked at her.  “Well, good afternoon to you, too,” she said in her thick Scottish accent.  “And how was your school day?”

“It was all right,” Kimberly stated.  “We got to count with jellybeans in math.  And Billy pushed Timmy in the classroom and started a fistfight.  And Sophie fell down and got a bump on her leg.  But that was it.”

“Sounds like a fun day!” Jacklyn said.  She put two Oreos in front of Kimberly and a glass of milk.  “Here you go!”

“Only two?” Kimberly whined.

Jacklyn came over and reached for the cookies.  “That or you can have none.”

Kimberly sighed.  “Fine.”  She sniffed the air.  “You making cookies?  I want those!”  Kimberly got up and ran over to the oven.  She reached up for the handle to open the oven.  Jacklyn turned from putting something away in the cabinet.  She started toward Kimberly and shouted, “NO!”

Kimberly jumped back, moving her hand away from the oven.  “What?” she whined.

Jacklyn came over and moved Kimberly even farther away from the oven.  “Didn’t your mum just tell you this morning not to go near the oven?”

“She said the stove,” Kimberly said timidly.

“You know what she meant!” Jacklyn warned.

Kimberly got this look on her face.  Jacklyn had seen it before.  She wasn’t sure she liked it too much.  Kimberly looked around Jacklyn and just looked at the oven.

“It’s not hot here.  I can touch it.”  Before Jacklyn could grab her hand, Kimberly touched the outside of the oven.  “Oooops! I touched it,” she said slyly.

“Kimberly Nicole!” Jacklyn accused.

Kimberly looked up at her nanny and sort of smiled and gave her a look of ‘what are you going to do about it?’

Jacklyn just glared at her.  Kimberly looked down.  Taylor started to scream then and Jacklyn got a bit flustered.  She looked at the five year old.  “Go up to your room.  I will be up in a little while.”

“But whhhhyyyy!” Kimberly whined.  “I didn’t hardly do nothing! I wanna eat my snack.”

Jacklyn went over to the little girl, turned her around and smacked her bottom.  “There will be more of those if you continue to argue with me, now go upstairs!”  She pointed toward the staircase.  Kimberly grabbed her two Oreos and ran up the stairs.

Jacklyn took Taylor out of the highchair.  She brought her into the den and stayed there to cool off.  She knew she had to go upstairs and address Kimberly’s actions but right then she was too upset.  She waited for the oven timer to go off, put Taylor in her playpen and went to get the cookies out of the oven.  Once they were cooling and she realized Taylor had fallen asleep at the bottom of the pack an’ play, she went slowly to the stairs.

Not sure if she should punish the little girl or let Regina handle it, Jacklyn took a few minutes to think about what she was going to say.  After a bit, she went to Kimberly’s room and knocked softly.  “Go away!” was the response.

“Kimberly, open the door, young lady!” Jacklyn said.

A second later, the door was opened.  Kimberly looked up at her nanny and then quickly away.  She knew that what she had done was wrong.

Jacklyn walked into the little girl’s room and sat down on the edge of the bed.  She looked around at Kimberly’s white furniture and little girl toys on the shelves.  Regina had done a nice job decorating the room.  There were balloons on the walls and Kimberly’s name on a wood hanging.  The room was a mess, possibly from Kimberly’s playing of the previous night and in a haste to get the little girl to bed, had not been properly picked up.  Jacklyn would see that it was done today.

Kimberly sat on the floor, looking up at Jacklyn.  Jacklyn looked down at the little girl.  “Am I in trouble?” she asked, her lip trembling.

“You could say that.  We’ve had discussions like this before, Kimberly.  I am in charge of you when your mama isn’t home and you are to mind me.”

“Yes’m,” Kimberly stated.

“But did you?”

Kimberly shook her head no.  “No’m.  But I didn’t hardly do nothing,” she tried again.

Jacklyn sighed and looked down at the five year old.  “Your mama told you this morning not to touch the stove and she meant it.  You did it anyway, and when I told you no, you got cheeky and did it again.”

Kimberly looked up at her nanny again. “But I didn’t hurt nothin’.”

“You could have hurt yourself.  Your mama wants you safe and in one piece.  As do I.”

Kimberly wrinkled her nose.

“Your mother told you not to touch the stove ever.  Whether you hurt anything or whether you got hurt THIS TIME is not the point.  You COULD have been hurt and that’s what she doesn’t want.  Your mama loves you very much.”

Jacklyn wasn’t sure she was getting to the little girl or not, so she said, “How do you think she would feel if she came back and you’d been burned?”

At this, Kimberly lowered her head.  “Not good, probly.”

The nanny nodded.  “And I’m sure you wouldn’t like her to be sad.  How would YOU feel knowing that you’d made her sad because you hadn’t minded her?”

Kimberly started to cry.  She loved her mama very much.  “Sad,” she said simply.

Jacklyn pulled Kimberly up onto her lap.  “So what do you have to do about disobeying your mama?”

“Not do it?” the little girl asked, hopefully.

But Jacklyn shook her head.  Kimberly knew what she wanted to hear but she didn’t want to have to say it.  She looked up and saw her nanny staring at her, waiting for an answer.

Kimberly looked at Jacklyn and her eyes got wide.  “Oh please don’t make me tell her.  Please!  Can’t you just punish me?  Then we don’t gotta tell my Mama.”

“No, baby, I’m afraid that isn’t how it works.  Now either I can tell your mama what you did, or you can.  But I think she’d rather hear it from you.”

“Yes’m, I’ll try to remember to tell her.”

Jacklyn lifted Kimberly up and planted one smack on her behind.  “Maybe that will help you to remember.”

“Owww!” Kimberly cried.  It hadn’t really hurt but it was the principle of the thing.

“I want you to promise me that you will tell her when she gets home.”

“Right when she gets home? Can’t it wait til after dinner?” Kimberly whined.

But Jacklyn shook her head.  “No, she must know as soon as she gets home.”  Jacklyn hated to do it to Regina.  She was sure that after spending seven hours with eight-year-olds that the last thing she needed to hear when she walked in the door, was that her own five-year-old had disobeyed her.  But yet, she didn’t want the little girl to keep such a serious act from her mama for too long.

They talked a bit more and then Jacklyn left the room, with strict instructions for the little girl to pick up the mess.  She went downstairs to check on the baby, and put the cookies on a plate.  Jacklyn still wasn’t sure if she should have punished Kimberly herself.  After all, the little girl had gotten very cheeky with her.  But she knew that Regina would handle things.

Regina got home a bit later.  She came into the house and Taylor woke up.  The two of them did some stuff together, and after giving Taylor to Jacklyn, Regina went upstairs to change out of her work clothes.  After donning a t-shirt and sweat pants, she headed for Kimberly’s room.

She knocked and Kimberly opened the door.  She looked up at her mother.  Regina looked down and smiled.  “Hi, baby, how was your day?” She scooped the little girl up in her arms and hugged her tight.  “I missed you.”

“I missed you too, Mama,” Kimberly said sadly.  She hugged her mama tight.  She knew in a few minutes she would have to tell her what she did.

Regina sensed something was wrong.  She felt her daughter shaking, pulled her back from her and looked at her.  “What’s the matter? Did something bad happen at school today?”

“No, Mama.”

“Oh, okay, good,” Regina said, setting Kimberly down.  There was quiet in the room.  “Is something else wrong, baby?”

Kimberly nodded her head.  “OH, what is it, sweetheart? Tell Mama.  You know you can tell me anything.”  Regina prided herself on being a very open person with her children.  She thought she and Kimberly had a good relationship and always encouraged her daughter to talk to her about things.  She knew she was only five, but she hoped that this relationship would continue well past her teenage years.

“Mama, I, I, I,” Kimberly started.

“What?”

“I got in trouble with Jacklyn,” she said, starting to cry.

“OH, I see.  Did Jacklyn give you a spanking, Kimberly?”

“No, Mama,” the little girl cried.  “But you’re gonna!”

Regina sat on the edge of her daughter’s bed and pulled Kimberly up so that she sat on her lap.  “Why don’t you tell me exactly what happened.”  So she did.  Regina sat quietly and listened to the whole thing.  When Kimberly was finished, Regina frowned.

She looked down at her and said, “You touched the oven after I told you not to?”

Kimberly nodded and continued crying.  She hated disappointing her mama.  “But Mama, I didn’t mean nothin’ by it.  I was just jokin’ around.  And I didn’t touch near where you was workin’.  And the cookies was inside and it wasn’t hot or nothin’!”

“But you did it on purpose, knowing you weren’t supposed to?”

“But I’s sowwy, Mama.  Jacklyn talked to me about it.  Her told me WHY I wasn’t spose to do it and why you said I couldn’t.”

“And you understand it now?”

“Yes, Mama,” Kimberly said sadly.

Regina knew the little girl was sorry.  She looked down at her and thought a moment.  She knew Kimberly needed discipline, but she looked so sorry now.

“How do I know you won't directly disobey me again?”

“Cause I feels real bad bouts it, Mama.”

“I want to make sure you don’t do it again, Kimberly Nicole.”

Kimberly didn’t think that the use of the two names was a good sign.  She wrinkled her nose and looked up at her mother.  Just then Regina looked down at her daughter.  She knew if she kept talking, all she would get is an argument from Kimberly.  She reached down and pushed Kimberly’s pants and panties to her ankles.

Kimberly looked shocked.  “Oh, Mama, no!”

Regina pulled Kimberly over her lap and smacked her bottom repeatedly.

{Smack! Smack!} {Smack! Smack!} {Smack! Smack!}  {Smack! Smack!}

“Owwwwww! MAMA!” the little girl cried.  “I’s sowwwwwwy!”

“You are not to disobey me, Kimberly.  {Smack! Smack!}  If I tell you no, then you must listen.  {Smack! Smack!}  The oven is hot and you’re not to touch it, {Smack! Smack!}  anywhere on it, ever again.  {Smack! Smack!}  Is that clear?”  {Smack! Smack!}

“Yes, M-M-M-Mamaaaaaa!  I won’ttttttttt,” she cried.

Regina aimed for Kimberly’s sit spot and gave it two hard swats.  {Smack! Smack!}  The little girl jumped.

“Owwwwwwwwwie!” she yelled.

Regina stopped spanking.  She rested her hand on the little girl’s bottom and rubbed for a few seconds.  She regained her own composure and pulled the little girl up onto her lap.  Regina held Kimberly close to her and rubbed her back.

“Okay, baby, it’s all over now.  Mama loves you.”

Kimberly cried into her mama’s shoulder.  “I’s sowwy, Mama.”

“I know, baby, it’s all over.  Shhhhh now.”

Regina sniffled and wiped her own tears away.  She hated having to spank her little girl like that, but she knew that sometimes one had to do stuff they didn’t like to get things done.  Regina knew that Kimberly had to learn right from wrong.  Especially without Mark in the picture most of the time, it fell on Regina to act as both the mommy and the daddy.  It was rough, but she was getting through it, and at least she had Jacklyn there to help her out.

“I luvs you, Mama,” Kimberly said.

Regina smiled.  “Oh, I love you, too, baby.  I hated having to do that to you.  I hope I won’t have to do it again anytime soon, either.”

“Me too, Mama.”

Regina got a tissue and held it under Kimberly’s nose.  “Blow, baby,” she said, gently.  Kimberly blew and Regina wiped her nose.  She wiped her eyes, too.  Then she leaned down and gently pulled up Kimberly’s panties and pants and set her back down on her lap.

“I’s really sowwwy, Mama,” Kimberly said, sniffling.

“Oh, baby, I know.  Mama forgives you.  You’ve been punished and it’s all over now.  I know we won’t have to have this discussion again.”

Kimberly nodded and hugged her mama tight.  She might not have a daddy around but she knew she was loved all around.  After cleaning up her room, Kimberly ran to get Jacklyn and show her what a good job she had done.

“I’s sowwy, Jacklyn, that I was cheeky and didn’t mind you,” Kimberly told her nanny.

“Apology accepted,” Jacklyn said, smiling.  She scooped Kimberly up and hugged her tight.

Yes, Kimberly knew she was loved.

The end.
