This series is more about mixed emotions and the difficulty in parent/child relations and growing up. It is more than just a spanking story. If that's what you're looking for, then look elsewhere. I'd like to introduce my longtime silent writing partner, Huggedlots. She is the one who created Maggie, Bob, and Heather. She is to thank, once again, for most of the emotional aspects that you love so much in this series.

These stories attempt to portray the loving raising of children, including spankings as and when deserved. The stories are not just spanking stories.
Lots of emotions run throughout them.
When we first started writing about Maggie, we had no idea that “The Dude Ranch” would become a series, nor that there would be five more sequel series.
When the series begins, we meet Maggie and her mom, Heather. Actually Charlie, Lisa, and the twins meet them at a dude ranch that they are visiting over the summer. Maggie is a nice little girl, but she is very rambunctious, and we soon learn that Heather has absolutely no control over her. Charlie soon takes both girls under his control, with a little old-fashioned discipline.
