It had been several weeks
since the incident on the train when Al had spanked Pam. She had been making sure she behaved herself
in front of him on the train. Not that
she would usually misbehave, but she made sure she was extra nice to him in
front of their friends.
But when Al had to work overtime,
and Pam was on the train without him, she fell so easily into misbehaving. She couldn’t help it. All of a sudden, she was out of control.
When the raunchy
construction workers got extra raunchy, she cracked jokes along with them. She was laughing so loud and so hard, that
several people who didn’t sit in the group began to complain.
One person got particularly
annoyed. She yelled, “WHY DON’T Y’ALL
SHUT UP? YOU’RE NOT THE ONLY ONES ON THE
TRAIN!”
Pam turned around. “Who said that?” she asked Steve.
Steve shrugged. “Oh, I dunno. Who cares?”
“SHUT UP!” the voice yelled
again.
This time they looked and
saw a woman sitting about six rows back.
She had long wavy red hair. She
spoke with a heavy accent. She started
to stand up.
Pam laughed. She had no idea what would happen next, but
she thought it was the most fun she’d had on the train in a long time.
“YOU SHUT UP!” Pam yelled
back.
Her friends applauded
Pam. “You tell her, Pam.” “Way to go, Pam!”
“Excuse me?” the woman said,
now fully rising. “You want me to come
up there and make you shut up?”
“GO AHEAD!” Pam shouted
back. She continued to giggle.
But when the girl actually
got up and started making her way towards the front of the car, Pam looked
around. All of her friends were staring
at this woman, and at Pam. Pam didn’t
know what to do.
The woman stood in front of
Pam and said, “Are you the one makin’ all the noise?
SHUT THE HELL UP! Or I’ll make you shut
up!”
Pam didn’t want this woman
or her friends to think she was afraid, so she mustered up all her courage,
stood up and faced this woman. “Oh, go
sit down, and mind your business. I got
as much right to make noise here as you do, or anyone does. So YOU shut the hell up!”
“YOU DON’T KNOW ME!” the
woman shouted. “YOU DON’T KNOW ANYTHING
ABOUT ME! I’LL SHUT YOU UP, GIRL, AND
YOU’LL WISH YOU HADN’T SAID A WORD!”
Steve stood up then and took
the woman gently by the shoulders.
“Okay, enough now. Go back and
sit down.”
The woman shook Steve
off. “You don’t know me!” she repeated.
“I don’t want to know you!”
Pam shot back.
Steve looked at Pam. He couldn’t believe she was still at it. “Enough now, Pam. Sit down.”
Then he turned back to the woman.
“You too.
Go back to your seat. We’ll try
to keep it down.”
The woman looked warily at
Pam as she made her way back to her seat.
She muttered under her breath, “You don’t know me.” Steve gently pushed Pam down into hers, which
was across the aisle from his.
But Pam jumped up and
attacked Steve. “I can’t believe you did
that. I have the right to do anything I
want!” she said loudly.
“Steve’s not your fight,
Pam. Let it rest!” Keith said.
Pam turned on Keith
then. “Some cop you are!” she said
adamantly. “Where were you when this
girl was threatening me?”
“I was right here. Now calm down,” Keith said gently. “I wouldn’t have let anything happen to
you. Sit down now.”
Pam sat down, but she was
still mad. After a while, she relaxed
and they all started joking again. But
Pam still thought about how angry that woman made her.
She was all set to tell Al
all about the woman on the train. She
kept going over what had happened in her mind.
She rehearsed what she would say.
But every time she thought about his reaction, she didn’t like what he
would think or say.
Ultimately Pam decided not
to tell Al about what had happened. He
would be disappointed in her for “starting” a fight with a stranger. He would be worried about what “could” have
happened. Pam kept quiet. She figured he wouldn’t find out anyway.
Pam figured if anyone on the
train mentioned the incident when Al joined them again, she would just turn it
around, or play it down. And Pam was
always on the train. No one could tell
Al when she wasn’t around. Al didn’t
associate with these people outside of the train. He didn’t see any of them except on the
train. Pam and Al almost always traveled
together.
One afternoon, though, when
Pam got home, Al was already home. “Hi,
honey, you’re home early,” she said kissing him.
“Yeah, I had it with the
overtime and decided to leave early,” he replied.
“Why didn’t you take the
4:05?” she asked, referring to their usual train.
“I’ve been home for a couple
hours,” Al said.
“Oh, okay,” she said. She thought it strange that he hadn’t called
her at work to let her know. But she
just as soon shrugged it off. That was
something SHE would have done, but not necessarily him.
Pam started to unpack her
bag and get things ready for the next day.
Al watched her putter around the house.
“How was the train ride home today?” he asked.
“Fun,” she said. “You missed the best. Pauly said,” and
Pam rattled on about everything that had happened that afternoon.
“Anything I should know
about?” Al asked, nonchalantly.
Pam was startled by this
question. “No. What do you mean, hon? I just told you
what everyone did and said.”
Al sat down on the
sofa. He pulled Pam into his lap and
kissed her passionately. She came up for
air and said, “Wow!” Al smiled.
“You know I love you, don’t
you, sweetheart?” Al asked.
Pam nodded. She knew, but she still liked hearing Al say
it. Pam had never had feelings like she
had for Al before. “I know. I love you, too.”
“And you trust me, don’t
you?” Al asked.
Pam started to get
scared. Where was he going with this
line of questions? Pam remembered that
Al was a detective.
“Of course I trust you,” Pam
admitted.
“Okay, then isn’t there
something you want to tell me about, Pamela Jean?” Al asked her.
Pam thought about
stuff. What had she done that Al had
found out about? She knew she hadn’t
overspent that month. Nothing had
happened to the car. She hadn’t run up
the telephone bill. Pam couldn’t think
of what she could have done to make Al question her this way.
“Uh, I don’t think so, Al.”
A quick look at him told her
that was not the response he wanted. I
mean, “No, sir,” she said quickly.
“Nothing happened on the
train this week that you want to tell me about?” Al specified.
“The
train?” Pam asked. Could he know about the almost fight between
her and that girl? How could he
know? Did one of them take the early
train today or the late train another day and tell him?
“Yes, the train. Come on now, I think there’s something you
neglected to tell me the other day. I
think it would be best if you admitted it, instead of me calling you on it,
young lady,” Al said sternly.
Young
lady. Not a good sign, Pam thought. Al definitely knew. It would be best if she told him. Of course, it would have been best if she had
told him about it the day it happened.
Very quietly, Pam spoke
up. “Ummm, I
kind of got into an argument with a woman on the train the other day.”
“Yes, go on!” Al insisted.
“Well, we were being kind of
loud. And this woman got all mad and she
started yelling,” Pam explained. Her
voice rose as she continued with the story, remembering how mad the woman had
made her. Al waited patiently for Pam to
finish explaining what had happened.
“So let me get this
straight,” he said. “You were being loud
and obnoxious with the raunchy construction workers. You made several people on the train
angry. You got into a screaming match
with a strange woman, who threatened you, and you got nasty to some of our
friends.”
Pam jumped at that last
part. “I didn’t say that!” she snapped.
“You didn’t have to,” Al
pronounced. “I ran into Keith this
morning and he told me the whole thing.”
“Keith?”
Al nodded.
“Oh,” Pam said. She knew that Al and Keith did not work in
the same precinct, but she supposed it was possible for police officers to see
one another. “Where’d you see Keith?”
she asked quietly.
“At a
rally. But that’s not what’s at
issue here, young lady.”
“You mad?” Pam asked Al, as
if she were five and asking her daddy if she were in trouble.
“Well, I’m not happy. Not at all. You acted like a young child would, Pamela
Jean. Do you know what could have
happened if Keith and Steve weren’t there?
What if no one had stepped in to help you?” Al asked.
“She was harmless,” Pam
said. She didn’t really believe it
herself, but she hoped Al would.
“I don’t think so, Pam. You don’t know this woman from a hole in the
wall. She could have been some crazy
nutcase out for blood. You might have
been just the one to push her buttons and make her go off the deep end. I think you acted very irresponsibly and I
think you know it, too. Don’t you?”
Pam didn’t answer. Hadn’t this been the reaction she thought Al
would have? Isn’t that why she hadn’t
told him about it the day it happened?
“Well, I, uh,” she
began. She didn’t really know what to
say.
“I think you think so,
Pam. In fact, I think that’s the reason
you didn’t tell me in the first place.
You knew I would react this way.”
“You’re over-reacting,
Al. Really. It was nothing. Keith probably made it out to be worse than
it was,” Pam tried.
But Al just shook his
head. “You should have told me the day
it happened.”
“Why? You only would have
gotten mad at me then!” Pam snapped.
“Excuse me? I don’t think I like the way you are speaking
to me, little girl,” Al said. Before Pam
could say anything, Al put out a hand and said, “Stop. You are acting like a little girl and you
know it. Now, you knew I would be upset
by what you did, so you purposely kept it from me. You didn’t think I would find out. In fact, if I hadn’t run into Keith at the
rally, I probably wouldn’t have found out.
That’s what you wanted, isn’t it?”
Pam bit her lip. Al was right.
She had been acting like a little kid.
She even felt like a little kid right then. She knew she was in trouble, too. “Yes, sir,” she answered slowly.
Al sighed. “Okay, now that it’s all out in the open, I
think you need to be punished. Don’t
you?”
“Yes, sir,” Pam answered
obediently. Truthfully she wouldn’t be
able to get past what had happened until she was finally punished. Pam had felt guilty about what she had done,
and also for not telling Al. They
usually had no secrets.
“Okay, you know what to do,”
Al said.
Pam nodded. Then she got up from where she was sitting on
the couch and came to stand in front of Al.
She slid off her shoes and carefully pulled down her pantyhose and
stepped out of them. Then she undid her
skirt and let it fall to the floor. She
bent over to pick it up, folded it, and put it neatly on the coffee table. Then she carefully pulled down her panties,
down to her ankles, and stepped out of them.
All the time Al just sat and
watched her. She had been in this same
place many times before. Pam was sure
she’d be here many times to come. She
needed to be.
After Pam put her panties
beside her skirt on the coffee table, she leaned over Al’s lap and held onto
the side table. “Good girl,” was all Al
said.
Al raised his hand and
brought it down on Pam’s bottom over and over again. He didn’t say a word, but just kept raining
the spanks down. Pam tried to stay still
but Al kept smacking the same place over and over again, and it hurt. She wiggled, but Al kept a firm grip on her
and kept her in place.
{Smack! Smack!} {Smack!
Smack!} {Smack! Smack!} {Smack! Smack!}
{Smack! Smack!} {Smack! Smack!} {Smack!
Smack!} {Smack! Smack!} {Smack! Smack!}
Pam was determined not to
cry. She had had many spankings just
like this one before. She knew she
needed it.
Al continued to spank Pam.
{Smack! Smack!} {Smack!
Smack!} {Smack! Smack!} {Smack! Smack!}
{Smack! Smack!} {Smack! Smack!} {Smack!
Smack!} {Smack! Smack!} {Smack! Smack!}
Finally Al let his hand
rest. Pam was a little surprised. She was in pain, sure, but it didn’t seem as
though Al had spanked her as long or as hard as he usually did. What Pam didn’t know was that Al was hardly
through.
Al let Pam up. “Go stand in the corner and think about why
you are being spanked, Pamela Jean. I
will be right back.”
“Yes, sir,” Pam said, a
little surprised. She put her hand back
as she headed for the corner.
“No rubbing!” Al
warned. Pam pulled at her hand. “Yes, sir.”
Pam stood in the corner for
several minutes, waiting for Al. She
wondered what he was doing. She wouldn’t
have to wait long, for Al soon came back and called her over to the couch
again. Pam saw something in Al’s
hand. It was a large wooden
hairbrush. She had no idea where it had
come from. Al had never spanked Pam with
anything but his hand before.
“I feel that I need to be
very strict with you this time, Pamela Jean.
That is why I am going to continue your spanking with this
hairbrush. I want you to feel the fear I
had for you when I heard what you had done.
Now bend over!” he commanded.
Pam did as she was
told. Before long, she heard a “Whoosh!”
and felt a crack on her backside. {Crrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaackkkkkk!} went the hairbrush.
Man, did that hurt! Pam thought.
Then the lecture began. Pam wondered if Al had forgotten. Al always lectured her when he spanked.
“You will NOT {Crack! Crack!} misbehave {Crack! Crack!} on the train, young
lady. {Crack! Crack!} You will act {Crack! Crack!}
like the good girl {Crack! Crack!}
I know you are, {Crack! Crack!} whether
I am there {Crack! Crack!} or
not. {Crack! Crack!} You will NOT {Crack! Crack!}
stand up {Crack! Crack!} to people {Crack! Crack!} who may be crazy. {Crack! Crack!} That woman {Crack! Crack!} could have hurt you {Crack! Crack!}
physically, {Crack! Crack!} or worse. {Crack! Crack!} Do you understand me, {Crack!
Crack!} Pamela Jean?”
{Crack! Crack!} {Crack! Crack!}
“Owwwwwwwwwwww!
Yessssssssssssssssirrrrrrrrrrrrr!” Pam screamed. Al
had never spanked Pam so hard before. He
was alternating cheeks as he brought that hairbrush down over and over
again. On top of the hand spanking he
had just delivered, this felt just awful.
Pam knew Al was upset, but she couldn’t believe how hard he was
punishing her.
“I was so {Crack! Crack!} worried {Crack! Crack!} when I heard {Crack! Crack!} what you did, {Crack! Crack!} young lady. {Crack! Crack!} Do you have any idea {Crack!
Crack!} how much {Crack! Crack!} I love you? {Crack! Crack!} {Crack!
Crack!} I would die {Crack! Crack!}
if anything {Crack! Crack!} had happened {Crack! Crack!} to you!” Al screamed. “Dammit!” he said,
flinging the brush across the room.
Pam didn’t move. She didn’t dare breathe. Pam didn’t know what to do or say. She didn’t know if her spanking was over or
not. Pam continued to lie still over
Al’s lap.
Finally she stirred. She looked up into Al’s face. He had tears falling down his face. Pam jumped up and hugged Al hard. He responded by holding her tight.
“I’m sorry!” she cried. “Oh, I’m so sorry, Al. I’m sorry.
I won’t ever do anything like that again!”
Al didn’t say a word. He didn’t need to. He just held Pam close and together they
cried.
The end.
