Moonweed
formed as an original funk five piece in 2001. The band played a successful
debut gig at Exeter's "Cavern" club and went on to build
a decent following and headline many live events and gigs. As the
band grew older its sound refined to a more emotional, rock style
but still held its funky roots. This mix created a unique sound and
we soon became known as one of the top university "Campus Bands".
In 2003 we headlined an event organised by "Xpression FM"
in association with Cancer Research UK and also headlined the Exeter
"Alltogether Now" festival, which was broadcast live on
radio. |
