| One of my newest interests, started when I discovered that he wasn't Catholic! I started to do some research on him, and a very generous friend gave me two biographies of him for Christmas! Naturally, this sparked an interest in his writings, so I've worked my way through "The Screwtape Letters" and most of "Mere Christianity", along with using his "Preface to Paradise Lost" to study for my English exam. His writing style is erudite, but it feels very personal and is surprisingly easy to understand...until you try to explain it to others! Here I'll give some details of his life, and descriptions of his works as I read them. |
