Something Something Ever After...
Saajan ji Shah Rukh may have come home to Kajol,
but life has just begun for the supporting cast
of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. While Rahul and Anjali are
honeymooning at a freezing cold resort in the
Swiss Alps, choti Anjali is hanging out with
sexy Dadi and Nana Principal Malhotra.
The problem is, Malhotra continues to have eyes
for Miss Briganza, which is secretly bothering
sexy Dadi very much.
"Main kya, sexy nahin hoon? Bahut kum aurat hai
jo sari pehen ke bhi sexy lagti hai," she
explains to choti Anjali, who is watching her
favorite Neelam being hyper on television. ("Am
I not sexy? Very view women can look sexy
wearing a sari")
Anjali is very proud of hooking up Papa and Miss
Anjali. She has now taken it upon herself to
make kuch kuch happen (something something
happen) between other couples. But she is under
great duress at this point, since she cannot
decide whether to hook up that nice uncle in the
tank top with Neelam, or spark the match of her
Nana and Dadi.
She decides that after one Shah Rukh-Kajol
blockbuster, she can tackle both supporting
couples at once.
"What should I do?" Anjali asks herself, while
gazing up at a photo of her Mummy Rani.
Suddenly, a book flies open and inside she finds
a letter Tina had written. It reads: Anjali
beta, you're an even bigger girl now. Try to get
your Nana to notice your Dadi. I know my darling
Anjali, Miss Briganza is the problem. So what
are you waiting for, get rid of Miss Briganza!
Anjali looks out the window and sees Malhotra
and Briganza singing Ladki Badi Anjani Hai and
freaks out. Aman uncle taps her on the shoulder,
and, suddenly, Anjali knows how to kill two
kabootars with one paathar. (kill two pigeons
with one stone) [Dramatic religious music fills
the bakcground.]
"Uncle, aap Miss Briganza ke saath flirt kyon
nahin karte?" (Uncle, why don't you flirt with
Miss Briganza?) "Whaaaat? Aman says in a high
pitch while changing his shirt. Voh buddi (that
old hag), are you kidding Anjali. I mean, that's
not very cool and, as you know, I am a very cool
dude."
"Oh Uncle, I just want to see if you can do it,"
Anjali says, her ponytails bouncing up and down.
"Okay sweetheart, just for you!" Aman says and
he struts over to Miss Briganza, a-ha.
Suddenly, he breaks out in song:
"Uh-oh jaane jana, tera skirt to hai deewana,
sapnon mein kuch aur aaye, haqeeqat mein Auntie
tu hai sanam." (Uh-oh sweetheart, your skirt is
crazy, something else comes in my dreams, but in
reality you're an Auntie, darling)
Miss Briganza, with her untra-high IQ, falls for
Aman, and shakes herself over. Malhotra is
heartbroken, when Dadi waltzes over in her sari
singing: "Sau saal pehele, mujhe tumse pyar tha,
aaj bhi hai, aur kal bhi rehega" (One hundred
years ago, I was in love with you, today I still
am, and tomorrow I still will be)
Malhotra, being the lallu (idiot) he is, falls
for the golden tune and he and Dadi run off to
the nearest senior citizens home to live happily
ever after. Meanwhile, Miss Briganza is about
ready to molest Salman, when Neelam rides in on
a motorcycle.
"Aye Briganza, maa ka doodh pee ho tho yahaan
aa." (Hey Briganza, if you drank your mother's
milk then come here - A common filmi threat)
Neelam proceeds to do some dishum dishum with
Miss Briganza and Aman is smitten. The two run
off to telecast a wedding ceremony on the Neelam
show.
Anjali feels bad for Miss Briganza, alone once
again with her short skirt and bird's nest
hairdo. "Miss Briganza, aap summer camp
chalengi?" (Miss Briganza, will you come to
summer camp?)
And Miss Briganza is shipped off to summer camp,
where she later hooks up someone as angrez
(English) as her.
