Duck creek park is located about mid island in the Vesuvius area. The park is acsesable by two entrances, one being located on Sunset rd and the other is on Broadwell rd.
Sunset side
Take Sunset drive off Vesuvius bay rd, go 0.5 km and the park will be just after Monteith rd on the right.
Broadwell side
Take Broadwell rd off Vesuvius bay rd, then about 0.4 km short way down the road on the left hand side there will be a small two car parking at the end of a drive way, that is the entrance to the park.
The duck creek park trails are mostly used by hikers but they will make for a fabulous bike ride along the creek. The parks one main trail goes through some old groth fir and cedar forests as it follows its way along the creek with a series of stair, bridges and rest stops. but watch out because some parts of the trail have a drop off down to the creek. The other trail makes its way through two lovely fields and is Better for bikers because there are no stairs and other obsticles. There are no jumps and drops on the trails but there are a couple in the field on the brodwell side and more are going to be built soon. A trail with jumps, drops and other fun stuff might be started in the third field across the creek witch runs along sunset drive. so soon there will be a trail for people who like to do more. there is currently no trail running through or around this field.
