Then in addition to salsa, you need to know the other Latin club dances. Merengue and Bachata are easy, fun, and very popular at clubs everywhere. Cha cha is a bit more challenging, but the irresistible cha cha rythm makes it well worth the effort. We can get you started with the basic step and a few moves. Continuing Salsa, NY Style & "On 1" Building on the fundamentals, each of the first 3 classes will introduce a new free style step and a simple turn pattern. Then in the last class we review and explore ways to combine your new moves. All footwork can be taught in both popular salsa styles, NY Style and "On 1. So you can learn in the style you prefer, or learn more about the difference between the two styles. A working knowledge of salsa basics in either style is required for this class. Each Continuing Salsa session has new turn patterns and footwork so you can repeat it many times and keep learning new material.
