MY WONDERFUL ASSISTANT NAOMI..... Naomi, whom I first met as my student, is currently one of my proudest dancers. She has also helped me out a great deal in assisting me, mainly in my Thursday classes, which seems to be the most popular one! In these few years that I've known her, Naomi has understood and learned to love Salsa in the most purest way possible. Not only has she absorbed the beauty of its music and dancing, but she has also grown to love the surrounding culture and people who are part of it as well. Regardless of her busy schedule, I hope that she will keep on dancing and keep on shining the way she always has. Thanks Naomi!! |

Without them, there would be NO SALSA PURA.... Without them, I might not be who I am today....Tony & Mari have supported me from the very beginning, and have always been there for me & my students. I want to thank them for the bottom of my heart for everything they have done. I learned SO much from you two, and I hope that I will keep learning more..... I'm the most fortunate girl in the world to having such great friends, great supporters whom I can trust & count on, & an Uncle Tony who truly showed me what SALSA IS ALL ABOUT!!!!!!! |

MY MENTOR & THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MAMBO DANCER IN THE WORLD, NILDA BORRERO.... (of NYM.O) She is the most impressive & breath-taking dancer I have EVER encountered!!! Nilda has such a fantastic gift of expressing her love & respect to Salsa & Mambo, as many of you may know from her website, New York Mambo Organization ! SHE is a TRUE natural, who is ALWAYS eager to share & pass on whatever she knows; a true Salsa enthusiast, an absolutely amazing dancing, and a wonderful friend :) Without her, my transition from ON1 to ON2 would have been SO difficult. Also being Japanese with NO Latin Roots, it has been a tough journey trying to capture the real groove & essence. But Nilda made me see that where you come from doesn't really matter. What REALLY matters, is that you let the GROOVE reach you; then anyone from anywhere can become ONE with it! Thanks for all the things you have done for me, though there is still much to learn! Can't wait to spend some serious "FUN" with you!!!!! Keep up the GREAT WORK! GO!!! N-I-L-D-A! |

| LAST BUT NOT LEAST...... MY SOULMATE, BRUCE..... Bruce is my biggest fan, my greatest supporter, and my best friend. Ever since I met him, my life has been a series of NON-STOP EXCITEMENT & FUN! He has showed me many things, including how to take a chance and go forth with whatever is infront of me! He has also helped me understand about life, love, and what it truly means to be happy. Without him, my heart would be so empty, with less laughter, and no one to share my accomplishments with. So Bruce, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for ALWAYS understanding me, and supporting me in whatever I do. You are the best partner anyone could possible have! I LOVE YOU!! |
