Classes will continue on Songkran !
The classes take place at 6.30 p.m. at Chiang Mai University, Faculty of Humanities, at the open space beneath building HB 7.
Use the main entrance of the university, turn right at the crossroads, follow the road, pass the lake (Ang Kaew, you have to turn right once more) and watch out for a high white building after 200 metres or so on the left side after you have gone around the big cafeteria building..

The fee will be 50 Baht (30 Baht for students under 30 years) for one evening.

7.30 p.m. - 8.30 p.m. advanced turns and figures
Note: Please be on time, it's hard to "get somewhere" when everyone turns up at a different time.
In addition to our Friday class there will be a class on every Saturday from 7-9 p.m. at the Can Do Bar in Chiang Mai Land with dancing afterwards!!!
Finally a place not only to learn but to really enjoy a Saturday night out on the dance floor.

The lesson fee is 120 Baht, including one soft drink.
The bar is run by the women's organization Empower which is so kind to let us use this place on Saturdays.

The Can Do Bar is situated on the Chiang Mai Land Road between the Chang Klan Road (the Night Bazaar Road, about 1500 m south of the Night Bazaar) and the Highway 1141, the highway coming form the Airport Plaza).
If you come from the Night Bazaar and go along the Chiang Khlan Road to the South, turn right at Chiang Mai Land (there is a billboard with all kinds of smaller billboards on it) and you will see the bar after about 200 metres on the right side. Watch out for the sign "Experitainement" written above the entrance. It's opposite Comodo Karaoke. Phone: 053-278 969.
Sorry for responding late to your e-mails, I have been rather busy and have been travelling quite a lot . But I have put everyone on the list who wanted to be informed about our classes.
If you want to get updated by e-mail, about any changes, please write me your e-mail-address, so I can inform you on short notice.
I send the e-mails through yahoogroups, so no one will be able to see your e-mail address. This yahoogroups account is only for Salsa activities in Chiang Mai, no one will be able to use it for anything else.
We are hoping to get together a nice group of people who are interested in learning to dance Salsa or even have danced before and can help teaching a few steps.
We meet every Friday and Saturday. as described above.
Everyone is equally welcome, people who have danced Salsa before and can help teaching are even more equally welcome.
I started the whole thing becauce I felt there is something still missing in Chiang Mai if there is no Salsa. So I am also vey much hoping to find some people who have some experience in Salsa dancing and can share their Salsa knowledge.
