My Dogs
My name is Sally and I have three German Shepherd Dogs and a small mongrel. I also have two cats (Poppet Cat and PST).
My GSDs are a female, who is a long coat, called Jerry-Lee ( born February 1994 ) and two males, both with normal coats, called Xanto ( born March 1995 ) and Landro ( born July 2000 ). Xanto is Landro's father.
My mongrel is a maltese cross called Pippin (born October 1992). She recently retired from working as a Therapy Dog. She did Therapy work for three years often working along side Xanto. View some pictures of Therapy work
Xanto has taken part in breed shows and working trials. He has Schutzhund 1, BH, ad and Breed Survey Class 1 (for life) . He has received an Excellent grading in every show entered as an Open Dog (over 24 months). He retired from working as a Therapy Dog at the end of 2004. He did Therapy work for three years doing at least two visits every week.
Landro has achieved a Schutzhund 1 title. He also competed in Kennel Union (KUSA) Obedience competitions where he qualified in Class A.
Skye is a new addition to the family. She is an Australian Shepherd / Border Collie cross (born 10 August 2007). She is currently learning how to do agility.
Unfortunately Jerry-Lee passed away on 23rd January 2005. She will be sorely missed and remembered with fondness.
Sadly Pippin passed away 11th May 2006. For such a small dog she leaves such a big hole!
Poppet Cat passed away 29th March 2007 at the ripe age of 18 years. I think he had a really good knock!
