Facial Shapes
OVAL Shape Face Ovals are considered the ideal face shape. This shape can wear any design with flair! Bobbed, layered, close / full / long or short, just about any style will suit this balanced shape. However, you must take into consideration your facial features. Do you want to play up your eyes or your nose. Bangs for instance can accent your eyes, while hair off the forehead can balance your nose in profile view. Your hair type will also determine the best style. If naturally curly, wavy or straight, make it part of your style. Remember an Oval face shape can wear almost any hair style, but there is also other considerations, such as eyeglasses, shape of nose, or profile.
SQUARE Shape Face Soften the edges of a square shaped face by directing soft wavy bangs down over your temples. Long hair should fall to, or past shoulders. For a short style, keep hair style round and soft with height at the crown. If pulled up, play with wisps of hair around the face. However, you must take into consideration your facial features. Asymmetrical styles work well.
ROUND Shape Face The goal is to create an oval appearance and or create the illusion of length to the face. Keep the sides close to the face and promote height at the crown.. Looking for a classic modern style, a layered Shag is the perfect shape for a round face. For short shape, close sideburn wisps soften and flatter the face. However, you must take into consideration your facial features. It is also appropriate to keep the hair up on one side, leaving the ear exposed. Style the bangs to one side.
DIAMOND Shape Face The aim is to reduce the width across the cheekbone line. To balance a narrow chin, your best look is a rounded shape with fullness at the bottom.  Wide wispy bangs help to create a oval look. The classic look for diamonds is a graduated bob that falls to the chin. Try a wispy design to soften the edges. Avoid hairstyles that lift away from the cheeks or move back from the hairline.
PEAR Shape Face Create the illusion of width in the forehead. Build a hairstyle that is fairly full and high. Focus on a full crown at top to create symmetry with the wide jaw. Layered looks, like the classic Shag flatter the Pear shape face. Tuck hair behind your ear so as to not draw attention to your cheeks. Short hair should not pass the neckline. While long looks should be kept tight at the nape.
HEART Shaped Face Aim is to decrease the width of the forehead and increase the width in the lower part of the face.  Heart shape faces need a softer, curlier style. a chin length look is Perfect. The objective....to create width around your narrow chin. Side slanted bangs draw attention away from the jaw line. Best look, full curly / wavy bouncy. To reduce the width of the forehead, a center part with bangs flipped up or style slanted to one side is recommended.

Eyes
     The eyes are the focal point of the face. You want to create a style that brings out the best in your eyes.
Wide Set Eyes..... are found on a round or square shaped face. You minimize the shapes by lifting or fluffing the top of hair and bang area. A side bang helps to draw attention away from the space between the eyes. 
Close Set Eyes.....are found on long, narrow faces. Open the face with the illusion of more space between the eyes. Style the hair high with a side movement. The hair ends should turn outward and up.
NOSE SHAPES
Nose shapes are closely related to profiles. The Nose must be considered both in profile and full face.
Turned Up Nose....the nose is usually small and associated with a straight profile. The hair should be swept off the face creating a line from the nose to the ear. This will add length to the short nose. The hair on top should move off the forehead to give the illusion of length to the nose.
Prominent Nose....You should draw attention away from the nose, bring the hair forward at the forehead with softness around the face.
Crooked Nose....To minimize the crooked nose type the hair in a off centered manner which will attract the eye away from the nose. Asymmetrical styles are best. Any well balanced hairstyle will accentuate the fact that the face is not even. Wide Flat Nose....
A wide flat nose broadens the face. To minimize this, the hair should be drawn away from the face. Also a center part tends to narrow the nose, as well as draw attention away from the nose.   Facial Shapes
