| Farrakhan says he will end Ja Rule and 50 Cent beef October 31 2003 - D.Jones - Rapsource Ja Rule and 50 Cent have made moves to patch up their long-running beef, by agreeing to meet separately with Nation of Islam leader Minister Louis Farrakhan. Ja Rule, met with Farrakhan on the Nation of Islam�s farm on Oct. 23 for a TV interview which sources hope will patch up his differences with 50 Cent. Farrakhan is said to have also spoken to 50 Cent on the same day, and will meet with him one-on-one in the coming weeks. Farrakhan will also meet with Ja Rule�s label boss Irv Gotti and Chris Lighty, who manages 50 Cent. This is politics and is just a diversion. |

| Ja Rule takes beef to Africa - July 12 2003 (Humberto.T) The Ja Rule-50 Cent war has reached a global status, most recently showing up in South Africa. 50 apparently doesn't even have to be on the same continent as Ja Rule for Ja's to just switch. After Ja's set at a concert in Durban, South Africa, on Sunday, Sakhile Xulu, better known as DJ Staxx, began his set by spinning 50's "21 Questions." Only a few minutes passed before Staxx's plug was pulled. The surprise silence was disturbed by a voice on the PA system telling Staxx that he was not allowed to play the song. And when he asked the 22nd question, "Why?" he became the target of curse word, and was told if he played a 50 record he could get his neck broke just like the record did.. |
