Cultural Days

Cultural Days was held on October 8-10 with lots of good food, cultural activities such as fish preparing demonstrations, bannock making (on a stick), and tons of entertainment.

One of the best acts for the Talent Showcase on Thursday was when some the staff and older students did a Wesahkecak legend in a play!

We’d like to mention names of some people who played a big part in making the Cultural days so enjoyable for our kids, Leonard Venne took our kids out on a hunting trip; Pat Cardinal provided most of the moose meat and Sampson Ratt provided the fish for the food preparation demonstrations.

Flora Ross, Annie Venne and Georgina Venne took care of the Arts and Crafts centre and Jonathan Ballantyne took time out from his busy job to do a paddle making demonstration. The week was finished off with a feast
