My biggest contributions: I led communication efforts internally when a new e-mail and calendar system was rolled out to company employees. As a publicist, I interviewed faculty members for articles and news releases on research, writings and other scholarly activities. Edited/rewrote columns by a dozen executives and industry experts. Established the newspaper style based on AP. Edited and proofread all contents for clarity, punctuation, grammar and factual accuracy. I have experience with HTML, web-publishing software, FTP products, screen shot software and Microsoft Office. I was in charge of the writing center at a community college during evening hours and worked one on one with students. I also wrote the curriculum for and taught writing for the web to businesspeople in a classroom setting. I am a member of the International Association of Business Communicators and the National Writers Union. I have a B.A. in writing from Houghton College and an M.A. in English/rhetoric & composition from SUNY College at Brockport.
