| So maybe we lived a little bit of a sheltered life, at least I had the opportunity to grow up where I felt safe.. never in hell would I raise my kids in a place like Vancouver where murders don't even make the news anymore because NO ONE CARES.. If I could go back and change my life a little, I wouldn't. I have no regrets growing up in Marquis because I don't even want to imagine if I hadn't met Jaime or Pam or Dez.. I probably would never have the insane, crazy (sometimes stupid) thoughts I do now.. I would never have people to bring me back to earth.. back to home where it all comes down to. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| When I'm asked where I grew up.. i sometimes say Moose Jaw just because it is easier to explain to people the general area where Moose Jaw is.. because when ya start talking miles... as in Marquis is 30 miles northwest of Moose Jaw.. city people give you this funny look like what's a mile?? And then I get this feeling of guilt, as if I've betrayed my upbringing, by not proudly stating "I'm from Marquis".. Because believe me I am.. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
