| " Our God is an Awesome God, he reigns from heaven above with wisdom, POWER, and love, our God is an Awesome God!" WITH ACTIONS AND EVERYTHING, especially on the power part. If you've ever gone to Vanier you remember this song. Because we were a Catholic school, meaning we said prayer every day and took a Christian Ethics class every year. --> Which was a joke anyways considering all we did were crossword puzzles and watched old Bible movies with the same actor over and over again. Other than that we were a normal high school.. Actually I don't think anything I've ever done was "normal" so I take that back. Vanier leaves me with mostly good memories. Memories of "THE STRIKE" that I missed, a football team that almost always lost, a million skipped C.E. classes, Hartney, Mae, everything with the beast (which if I haven't explained is the biggest beater of a truck that I both love and hate with everything inside of me... fucker, almost got me killed), Miskeets, the Gold one, our science project with Mr.K, Back to Genesis with Mr.Fast, putting the paper glasses on the lookalike of Mr. Theissen, Sallad, lacrosse, Freshies, Grad, NET (hungry, hungry), the Girls, the Bo. | |||||||||||||||

| Vanier is for sure the best high school in the Jaw. We weren't a group of stoners, we didn't go to school in the boonies, and we weren't goody-goodys with straight A averages. Ha, Now who's being judgmental... They called us "churchie" or "biblethumpers", ha.. if they only knew.. Because well that's me in a nutshell!! Right guys.. | |||||||||||||||
| This is my grad pic.. I went to Vanier in the fall of 1997 and graduated in 2001. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.. not much else to tell ya there.. I played on a lacrosse team that never played a game though we kicked ass anyways and I still miss tiger leaps.. | |||||||||||||||
| I said I would tell you about the Freshies.. So here's my little bit.. My freshie week (when I was in grade 9) kinda sucked because my master didn't make me do anything.. so I kinda made up for it in grade 12. Our school became absolutely stupid this year and decided to cancel Freshie Week (they called it inhumane and degrading....pshh.. i don't know what they were thinking).. But being the good kids we were , we did it anyways... and we made them dress up and washing my truck and we still had Bubblies of course... and the football game.. i think.. Yeah we had the football game.. And that's freshie week.. trust me it's fun.. | |||||||||||||||
