| * First Smile: was a 5-1/2 weeks. He also starting cooing at this time. * Held a toy: The first toy Nathaniel held was his keys at 7 weeks old. * Turned over: 7/30/01 - rolled over onto his right side 10/4/01 - rolled from back to front 11/9/01 - rolled from belly to back * First solid Food: was at 4 months old and was rice cereal * Laughed: Sept. 19, 2001 - started learning to laugh * Sat alone: 11/9/01 * First hug: Sept. 19, 2001 - started to hug by snuggling into shoulder * Sept 20, 2001 - started making happy, squeaky talking noises * First tub bath - 12/10/01 * First Wave - December 31, 2001 to Great Grandma K. * First drink from a straw - January 1, 2002 in the restaurant * First time Nathaniel protested a toy being taken away - January 2, 2002 * Started turning in circles while sitting - February 19, 2002 * February 26, 2002 - Nathaniel fell forward on purpose to reach toy and ended up on hands and knees. * First swimming lesson: March 23, 2002 * March 26, 2002 - First time he used a sippy cup by himself * First assisted steps: March 30, 2002 * First Haircut - April 7, 2002 - cut off 1-3/4 inches * First time pulling up to standing from sitting: April 9, 2002 - grabbed onto my shirt and pulled himself up April 10, 2002 - pulled up half way using a chair April 23, 2002 - pulled all the way up in the bathtub * April 30, 2002 - Said the word dog - now says mama, dada, uh-oh, and dog. * May 11, 2002 - Nathaniel got up on all 4's for the first time. He also learned to sit up when on his belly. He also learned that if he is on his back, he can roll over, get on all 4's, and then sit up. * Crawled for the first time - May 19, 2002 * Stood up from sitting to standing - June 3, 2002 * June 7th, 2002 - Happy First Birthday, Sweet Nathaniel!!!!! * July 27, 2002 - Nathaniel took his first steps! * August 7, 2002 - Nathaniel started really walking. * September 2, 2002 - Nathaniel learned to stand up on his own without any assistance. * September 12, 2002 - Nathaniel learned how to take off his diaper. * September 13, 2002 - Nathaniel went to his first parade. * September 29, 2002 - Nathaniel said "hi" on the phone to grammy and grampy (Morin). * October 7, 2002 - Nathaniel used a fork by himself * October 18, 2002 - Nathaniel crawled up a flight of stairs Nathaniel pointed to his nose for the first time * April 28, 2003 - Nathaniel walked up stairs by himself without support. |
