Summer School will be held at Brandon Middle School this year. Students who have not met the promotion standards and need to pass one or two of the required courses to be eligible for promotion to the next grade level should attend Summer School. Brandon Middle School is located at 1700 Pope Street, Va., Beach. The phone number is 366-4545.
Registration dates are June 20th and 21st 2007, between 8:00am and 12:00 noon at Brandon Middle. Summer School tuition is $140.00 per course, $70.00 reduced tuition, and no charge for students who receive free meals. In order to receive free or reduced summer school tuition, students must have qualified for free or reduced priced lunch during the school year.
Dates for Summer School are as follows:
Session I - June 25th - July 13, 2007
(No school on July 4th)
Session II - July 16th - August 2, 2007
Summer School hours are from 8:45am - 12:45pm. Specific bus route information will be provided to designated Summer School sites from neighborhood
pick-up points within the cluster.
