Lauren Koslow

The stunning Lauren Koslow joined the cast of Days of our Lives as Kate Roberts in January 1996. She is well known to daytime audiences, having appeared as Lindsay Wells in The Young and the Restless from 1984 to 1986 and as Margo Lynley on The Bold and the Beautiful from 1987 to 1992.

A Boston native, Koslow attended the University of Massachusetts and later transferred to Virginia State University. She graduated with a degree in Theater Arts, specializing in costume design, for which she earned an award at the Kennedy Center's American College Theater Festival in Washington, D.C. After graduating, Koslow signed on with a summer stock theater group in Virginia, where she doubled as costume designer and actress.

She soon put her designing talent aside to became a full-time actress, appearing in such regional productions as Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Dial M for Murder and The Importance of Being Earnest, as well as in the Atlanta Shakespeare Festival productions of Two Gentlemen of Verona and Tartuffe. She then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a television career and landed roles on such shows as Harper Valley P.T.A., The New Mike Hammer, House Calls and The A-Team.

Koslow is married to make-up artist Nick Schillace and the couple has two children, Zachary and Milli Kate. When she's not working, Koslow enjoys traveling, painting and taking care of her pets: two cats and a pit bull.
