Judi Evans

Daytime Emmy Award-winning actress Judi Evans rejoins the cast of NBC's number-one daytime drama Days of our Lives as Bonnie Lockhart, mother of the beloved and spunky Mimi.
Judi describes this new character as "a
real scrapper without a fine line between good and evil -- she will try to
scratch her way to the top." Judi adds, "Bonnie is multi-faceted,
different and cool!" Judi has fond memories of her last stint on Days of
our Lives, portraying Adrienne Johnson, wife of Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth)
and sister of Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford).
"I couldn't be happier to be back; this is a great place to work and there are no fans better than Days fans. I am so grateful to be returning and to have this new opportunity; I am confident the fans will embrace this 'new me'."
Judi has fond memories of her last stint on Days of our Lives, portraying Adrienne Johnson.
Judi made her daytime television debut on the CBS drama Guiding Light as Beth Raines, a role for which she won the Daytime Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1984. In 1991 Judi joined the cast of Another World in the role of talk show host Paulina Cory. Her performance won her the 1998 Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress.
In 2000 Judi appeared in the made for television movie "Getting Away with Murder: The Jon Benet Ramsey Mystery" in which she portrayed Patsy Ramsey.
It may be surprising to many that she spent her childhood traveling with the circus as a baby clown.
Evans was born in Montebello, CA, and raised in Monterey Park, CA. It may be surprising to many that she spent her childhood traveling with the circus as a baby clown. Her parents were trapeze artists and her three older brothers juggled and worked with the circus' prop department. Judi attended Pasadena City College.
Evans and her husband Michael, a camera operator for CNBC, currently reside in Los Angeles and are proud parents of seven-year-old Austin, who appeared as her [Paulina's] son on Another World when he was only one year old.
