Brody Hutzler

 

Brody Hutzler portrays "Patrick Brian Lockhart," a suspicious young man who has returned to Salem for reasons yet to be determined! He is brother to "Mimi" (Farah Fath) and son to "Bonnie" (Judi Evans) on NBC's number one daytime drama Days of our Lives.

Born in Fairbanks, Alaska, Hutzler is a self-proclaimed "Air Force brat" who has lived in Alaska, Colorado, Ohio, New York, Hawaii, Vermont and Michigan.

He attended Michigan State University to play lacrosse and studied biology. He has one sister who lives with her husband in Vermont.

Hutzler's first acting job was as "Craig," the date-rapist, on an episode of NBC's popular Saturday morning hit Saved by the Bell. Other television credits include 7th Heaven, I'm With Her, She Spies, Ally McBeal, Charmed and Angel, in which he played the demon "Landok" in multiple episodes. Hutzler enjoys traveling to Angel conventions overseas and continues to do so twice a year. His favorite destination to date is London. Film credits include Totally Blonde and Legally Blonde.

Most recently Hutzler was seen as "Cody Dixon" on the CBS daytime drama Young and the Restless and he has also appeared on As the World Turns and Guiding Light.

Hutzler credits Alan Alda in M*A*S*H as his acting inspiration, "he just made it [acting] look so easy!" he remarks. Hutzler feels that "success is being prepared when opportunity knocks! I think Oprah said this but I'm claiming it as my own!"

Hutzler is single and lives with his cat Spooky. He enjoys reading, playing guitar, eating and most sports especially tennis, soccer, skiing and boxing. Hutzler has a collection of European league soccer jerseys as well as an extensive collection of hats to which he is always adding! For the last 5 years he has played in the NBA Entertainment Basketball League. Hutzler lives in Los Angeles.
