| Personality: | The people who described her as dainty would currently be on the floor twitching for one of her numerous curses. While not trigger happy (or is it wand happy?), she will certainly not tolerate anything she finds offensive. Despite that, she acts like a proper lady most of the time, loving in particular to meet old acquaintances from childhood and do them up in the dresses.... unless Quidditch is involved. In which case it's one of the few times you will ever see her without a dress and her hair done in a regular braided bun. |
| Family Life: | She was born from a very well-to-do pureblood
family in the Americas. Very old money line, divided into two branches,
theirs being the wizarding side. Her mother, Loretta Oleander, loved to,
and still loves to, give her daughter everything she deems appropriate
for a nice pureblood girl. She has influenced her daughter's dressing
styles by showing her wizarding photos of grand ballrooms with lovely
lady in beautiful dresses.
She has a younger brother named Phillipe, who she in turn dotes on. She loves her little brother and would do anything for the fine-mannered young man. Her father, Lawrence, is an entirely different matter. Because of his impossibly high expectations, he has planned and cut off many arranged marriages for Ruri, claiming the grooms not to be of high enough caliber and blood. He has vowed that if he cannot find a suitable match for either of his children by the time they leave school, he will have them marry. |
