Baghbanpura

Baghbanpura is home of organically-rich dusty-air. One of the oldest and densely populated part of ancient Lahore. During Mogul Period it was the house of Baghbans the Gardeners who looked after the lush green gardens of Shalimar and Sub-Gardens in the vicinity.

Great Sufi Saint Hazrat Madhu Lal Hussain's Tomb is in Bahbanpura, He is known by the name of his own disciple Madhu-Lal. Mela Chiragah is held around his Tomb, an occasion of Chiragah (Lamp Lightings) and Dhamaal (Mystical Sufi Dance).           "Kanjri Banya Meri Izzat Na Ghat-di  -  Mai Noo Nach Kay Yar Manavan Day"...Madhu-Lal.

Baghbanpura is also famous for its Horse-Chariots and Buggies (Tongas & Rahras) , hence the horse shit provides the most natural source for the unique organically-rich dusty-air.
