| The big adventure of the year is to travel via the old family minivan across country from Rochester NY to Tacoma WA. Along the way we hope to stop and visit friends in Carbondale IL and LaCrosse WI. We hope to visit Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone and many of the "square" states. |

| 5/13/03: Sally and I finally got back from our house hunting trip. Sally went out and scouted 2 days earlier and then I joined her over the weekend. During the whirlwind tour we realized that it would make more sense to rent a house while getting to know the neighborhood. We stayed at a wonderful hotel overlooking Puget Sound. While sitting by the fireplace in the room we could hear the wave lapping outside our window. |
