PAST UPDATES

This is my first blog on a non-diary-type site.  Not much has happened today.  For those of you who don't know, I'm going to be attending East Central College in Union, Missouri this fall.  Normally, I wouldn't be able to go, but my high school was A+ certified, so, I was able to join the A+ Program.  That pays for two years tuition at some schools.  But, the other day, I got this letter from ECC saying that I have to pay a thousand and something dollars by July 28th.  So, I'm definitely going to have to give them a call.
I'm also going to post updates on my other sites in this blog.  I recently added my first Andromeda story up.  Well, It's part of the story, anyway.  I'm working out the kinks.  Anyway, I would really love it if people would send in ideas for titles of the Andromeda series.  Read the stories so that you can get an idea of what they're about.
That's all I have for right now.  This website is under some serious construction, so, their may not be anything good for a while.  I'll try and udate everything on Tuesdays.  Well, happy thoughts!

Still nowhere as far as the title thing for Andromeda.
In other news, I've been looking for a job.  I need to save up for a copy of Photoshop and some Prisma markers.  But, unfortunately, in a town as small as Linn (pop. 1257 or so) there's not many career opportunities that don't involve reheating fake cow parts or dealing with some sort of lifestock.  ~_~*  Ah, well.
I took my dad to the library today.  Well, I didn't actually take him, because I don't drive.  That's right, almost 18 and not even a permit.  Anyway, he needed to look some stuff up on the internet and set up an email account.  It took awhile just to convince him that an email account can be free.  Everything else was an ordeal unto itself.
I haven't had this site here on Geocities for very long, and not much of it is completed, anyway.  It's good, because, it works a lot better than my Fortune City one, but I can do any nifty copying and pasting with pictures.  I tried to put up some ad banners from other sites, but won't let me.  I'll have to think up a way around that.
I'm still having problems trying to upload stories on to here.  Every paragraph from an uploaded one starts off with a bunch of numbers and symbols, and every apostrophe and quote appears as a square.  *Argh!*  So, I think that in the written stories part of the site, I'll just link it to my Wyvern's Library shelf at Elfwood.
That's really all I can think of at the moment.
Oh yeah!  I found this
freaky movie-site-thing
Later, sweet peeps!

The site wiel be going uder some serieous revamping.  Did I just type "wiel, uder, and serieous?"  Whoah....  Isn't that just something.  I may write that down. The other day, I went to Hobby Lobby and got three more Prisma markers to add to my ever-growing collection.  Eehh...kinda sounds like mold when I put it that way.  Then, I went to Hastings and found a really cool How to Draw Manga book, and a copy of "Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie" for only $6!  Of course, the book was like, $20, so, it wasn't really savings a'plenty, or anything.  Still working on a name for the Andromeda stories.  If I think of anything, I'll write that in later.  I gotta go,now.  The librarians are telling me my time is up.  So, vaya con queso, everyone.

Sunday, I went to a party with my friends.  Well, it may have started out as a party, but really was more of a gathering.  Lacey and Katie called a whole bunch of people to see if they would like to go to a party at the bowling alley in Jefferson City.  Little did I know that there would be a total of six people who actually came.  It was me, Katie, Lacey, Kenny, someone they know named Terry, an a friend of his that showed up later.  We waited outside the bowling alley for about twenty minutes to see if anyone else would show up.  So, we went inside and played a game of pool, and bowled a game.  I beat Kenny with a score of 39.  Then, we all got in Lacey's car, except for Terry, and went to the arcade at the mall.  Terry went in his own car.  We spent about an hour and twenty dollars there(collectively), and went to the movie theatre.  Terry and his friend, who he went to pick up, wanted to see the new Terminator movie.  The rest of us really didn't.  So, instead, we saw 28 Days Later.  That is one screwed up movie, but I loved it.  I thouroughly recommend it.  When that was over, we waited for the other two in the Lobby for over half an hour, and they never showed, so, we took off and went to Steak n' Shake, because Katie had never been.  Then, we went to Wal-Mart and messed around down there for an hour, then went home.  At about midnight, we got a call from my aunt Christie, saying that my grandpa had to be ambulenced to the hospital because he couldn't breathe.  But, we saw him yesterday, and he's doing better than he had been for weeks.  The doctors first thought it was pneumonia, but later figured that it was a muscle spasm that closed his throat off.  But, he's doing better, and I hope it stays that way.  Still working on a title for Andromeda, but I'll get that running some other time.  Happy Thoughts!
