| You |
| Sometimes I am afraid of you The anger builds up inside I don't know what I'm going to do I just want to run and hide. Other times I welcome you To take me in your arms The darkness I want to belong to It can't do me any harm. The sight of you sometimes scares me Though you appeal to a part of who I am An everyday thing I want to see But you next to me i can't stand. The eternity you can hold me in Appeals to my senses and mind But isn't lust a deadly sin? For us I can't define. If you would just hold me for a short time And be able to let me go Then after I've lived a lifetime Then to you my heart will show. |
