| Wicca, The Pains Of Power: The Truth Behind This Nature-Honoring Religion |

| Wicca/Pagan dates back before the birth of Jesus. This Pre-Christian Religion is the oldest, yet youngest Religion that has ever existed. Witches, whether good or bad, were burned, hung, and tortured to death, all becuase the Churches were afraid of us... Afraid of our powers, our might. Some Churches were afraid that our Religious Society would overthrow them, so(whether they thought us evil or knew us good) they tried to destroy our society. But, did they succeed? No! We flourished, hidden, out of site, in the forests, in the dark. No matter how much they tried, how many of our kind they killed, we survived. They thought us evil, they thought us children of Satan... No matter what we did, to them, we were all evil. Because they could not work our magick, we were The Ones. Those who worshipped the Dark Lord. And so today our path is free. Well, more so then in recent years... But even today, there are those who are stil blind to the fact, not all of us whorship Satan, not all of us are evil, young Witches, such as myself, suffer the most. We deal with other students who think us evil, neighbors, teachers... We still suffer, those who have the gift to be great Witches, are still persecuted in their journey to become great, powerful Witches. I myself have been put-down by my teachers, neighbors and classmates for being a Witch, because my History teacher believes all Witches are evil, most of my classmates do, I have recently found that some of my classmates are Wiccan/Pagan too, and I have convinced a few other classmates that I am not a Satanist, and that what I practice is not Satanic. All us Wiccans suffer 'The Pains of Power'. But, we must stand strong, we must not let others discourage us for our ways, our beliefs, our lives as Witches. We must stand together, alone we will not be able to stop them from thinking us evil. What will happen in the future? Will the Christians have the power to literally destroy us? We don't know, none of us do. That is why now is the time for us to stand strong, stand together and fight for what we believe in. They say that they're 'Our wicked ways' but in truth, it's their's, because The Cristians, who live by the Bible, are supposed to(by Jesus's sayings) are to love all things, hideous and beautiful. But do they? No! They want all of us gone, but, that will never happen. The more you try to get rid of something, the more it grows and flourishes, behind the walls of their homes, in the secret darkness of the forests. It will always be there, and so will we.
