Character Description

Tomoyo is more of a support character, but she is considered part of the main cast. The reason is because she is present throughout the whole series and is in almost every single episode. She stays with Sakura till the end. =^^=

Tomoyo is a soft, gentle girl with a very delicate and beautiful voice. She is always seen with a tiny and kind smile, and she never raises her voice to anyone. The only time that she is unhappy is when Sakura or an important person is in trouble.

Tomoyo is very mature for her age. She knows what love is, because she has experienced it already. She is calm and cool-headed, and she always comes up with a solution when the cardcaptors are in a bad situation. And throughout it all, she doesn't take credit and isn't selfish.

The only person that Tomoyo lives with is her mom, Sonomi Daidouji. That is, if you exclude all their servants. ^^ Her mom is the president of a huge toy company, and they live in a very large mansion. Tomoyo's room itself is big enough for a kitchen, living room, and bedroom! She even has her own movie studio! o_o

As said before, Tomoyo has experienced love. She met Sakura when they were in 3rd grade (they are in 4th at the beginning of the series), and she fell in love with Sakura. They are distant cousins, but that isn't emphasized. Even so, this is a different type of love. Tomoyo would be joyous if Sakura shared the same feelings, but she would also be content if Sakura found her true love and was happy. Sakura's happiness is Tomoyo's happiness.
