Algebra 2 Accelerated Home
In this course you will be exposed to sets of numbers and their field properties; open sentences and inequalities in one and two variables; systems of linear and quadratic equations; polynomial factors and products; rational and irrational expressions; polynomial, exponential, and logarithmic functions and equations; sequence and series; matrices and determinants; and probability.The students will sharpen their skills in simplifying expressions and acquire techniques in solving first and second degree equations in both one and two variables. The student will also develop the skills in translating the information in a word problem into an algebraic relationship and apply their knowledge in solving such problems. SAT preparation will be introduced intermittently throughout the year.
