Dr. Alireza Ebrahimi is a Professor of  Management Information Systems at State University of New York / College at Old Westbury where he has taught programming for twenty years. He received a chancellor’s award for teaching excellence in 1993. Developed a visual language known as VPCL (1989). Professor Ebrahimi has taught at other institutions such as Fordham University, NYU, Polytechnic University of New York, and Nassau Community College. He has also served as ACM lecturer, consultant / trainer to NYNEX and Honeywell. Dr. Ebrahimi received all his three degrees in Computer Science and his graduate study was at NYU and Polytechnic University where he earned his Ph.D. in 1989.
