Research interests
My research focuses on transport processes (transport of momentum, heat and mass) in both single phase and particulate systems.  Specifically, I am interested in solids drying, hydrodynamics and heat/mass transfer behavior of novel particulate processors, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and heat transfer, turbulent flow modeling and thermal energy storage system. Recently, my interests are also in drying of bio-active compounds for such applications as biomedical and nutraceutical applications. Experimental and numerical approaches are used to investigate these problems.
