NET (ICAR) 2004 in Plant Physiology
Ph.D. in Forestry(2002). Title-''Physiological analysis of the factors associated with the rooting of cuttings and proliferation of bamboo (Dendrocalamus strictus Roxb.).'
M.Sc. degree in Botany from CCS University, Meerut in 1996 with First Division (69.22%).
B.Sc. degree with subjects Botany, Chemistry and Zoology from CCS University, Meerut in 1994 with First Division (66.76%).

Field studies-
                                                  
Surveyed Punjab State for selection and collection of germplasm of economically important forest tree species of Punjab during 2002-2003..
Studied the vegetation of nearby areas of Dehra Dun i.e. Haridwar, Rishikesh, Paontasaheb, Lachhiwala etc. for the data collection, taxonomic studies and collection of germplasm specially bamboo, Dalbergia sissoo etc.during 1997-2001.
Attended a tour to study the vegetation of Delhi as a team member in 2000.
Seminars and workshops-
Attended Seminar on 'Role of Forestry Education in Conservation of National Resources' on 29th January, 1998 in Forest College, FRI, Dehra Dun organized by Directorate of Forest Education.
Attended many internal workshops cum peer review meetings held in FRI on Bamboo and Dalbergia sissoo during 1998-2003.
Assisted in organising National Symposium 'Recent Advances in Science-A Prospecpective' at Dolphin (PG) Institute of Biomedical and Natural Sciences, Manduwala, Dehradun in June 2005.

Consultancy-
Attended tours to impart training to Forest Officials of Andhra Pradesh Forest Development Corporation, A.P. (India) on 'Establishment of Rhizome bank'; 'Propagation techniques'; Multiplication of bamboo' and 'Screening of planting stock' in bamboo in May 2000 and August 2001.
Attended a tour to impart training to Forest Officials of Delhi Forest Deptt., Delhi (India) on Bamboo propagation and selection of planting material in December 2000.
Some propagation and multiplication techniques of bamboos were described to visitors in FRI, Dehra Dun time to time, during 1997-2003.
Provided training to Forest officials of Punjab Forest Department on 'Establishment and Maintenance of germplasm bank of forest tree species of Punjab' in 2002-2003.

Hundred days training in Computers viz. Windows 98, Windows 95, Microsoft Office 97 ( MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Access), and Unix.
