As soon as I signed in to my MSN Messenger, I got mail. This may sound typical to you guys but this mail I've reveiced ain't typical. It was from CK, noting his safe arrival to the United States. He's in good shape, together with his "welcome" family there. As far as the good shape concerns, he only experience jetlag due to long haul onboard a plane. Soon, he will be leaving for a host family that is willing to foster him for the next 6 months. 6 months is a long time, about 2/3 of a normal human pregnancy period. And it's snowing in Pennsylvania (according to CK). Wow! That's great, considering that we don't have any snow in Malaysia (excluding the artificial snow, please). And soon it will be spring. Spring is my favourite season of the year, eventhough I don't experience it first hand (I just love it). He's there for a cause anyway. As an exchange student, he is partially responsible to promote the Malaysian culture. That, I can only manage to wish you luck. Putting CK aside. I, soon, will have a genuine, official, permanent, original driving licence. Soon... In other words, I'm on the learning path of having a licence. Ooo.. that's a big bomb for me. I am so happy since it is part of my wishlist. Well, I've got my dad's backing. So everything is smooth sailing. He gave various exposures about car, from car maintainance to driving a car. Well, all of those just on the surface. My admission to the driving institution ensures me a licence. Let's just say that it's an early birthday present or a very late Christmas gift from my dad. He even planned to buy a laptop for me. Well, he did say that before but this time my dad gives me the flexibility of choosing the type of mobile PC that I want (regardless of the price). Oh, if my dad is that willing to do so, I surely opt for tablet PC, fulfilling another wish from my long and hefty wishlist. The catch here is that my dad will only buy one after I am done with my matriculation (pre-U). Well, just one more year, one more year! Fun? Well, I'm delighted. With so much happenings revolving around me, I updated my DA and this site less regular. Apparently, I still don't have part-time job and at the same time my dad changed his mind on not approving me to get a part-time job. Uh... speechless. Instead he gave a "brilliant" idea to paint the WHOLE house! I protest it... silently. Well, we just can overwhelm the head of the house. It's an irony, considering of the good news I've received lately. Just have to wait for my SPM result in boredom.
