Saiyan Saga:

Dragon Ball Z open with Goku going to visit his old friends on Master Roshi's island. But soon Piccolo, Goku's arch nemesis, arrives followed shortly by Goku's older Brother Radditz. Raditz tells Goku that he is a Saiyan from outer space, and that he is to rejoin the Saiyan forces. Goku refuses, and Raditz kidnaps his son, Gohan. Piccolo decides to join forces with Goku temporarily to end this new menace.
The battle ensues with Raditz easily holding off the attacks by Goku and Piccolo. Then finally Piccolo finds a way. His Special Beam Cannon, a move he perfected to use against Goku, finds purchase, wounding Raditz as he barely dodges, but gets nicked in passing. Knowing that it would be the only way, Goku sacrifices himself to hold Raditz still while Piccolo fires one last time. The beam travels through both Raditz and Goku, killing them both.
After Goku's death, Kame, the guardian of the Earth, requests he be sent to King Kai's place for special training. The Earth's defenders find out that more Saiyans, much more powerful than Raditz, will be coming soon. Piccolo takes Gohan, after seeing his high power level, for special training for the upcoming fight. The other fighters, Tien, Yamcha, Krillin, and Choazu, begin training for the Saiyans' arrival. Goku makes it to King Kai's after a couple misadventures on the Snake Way path and begins his training.
One Year after Goku's death the Saiyans arrive on Earth, looking for the dragon balls. The Earth's special forces arrive after Nappa destroys a small city. Soon the media and the military arrive to watch over the monumental battle. Vegeta and Nappa, the two saiyans, decide to employ the help of their Saibamen, small green men who grow out of a seed planted in the ground in a couple minutes time. Piccolo, Gohan, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, and Choazu decide to fight the Saibamen one at a time. Vegeta agrees to those terms and the tournament like battle ensues. Yamcha beats a Saibaman, but while his back is turned, it jumps from the ground and latches onto him. It selfdestructs, killing Yamcha in the process. Krillin gets really mad and fires off a blast that starts the end of the Saibamen. Once the team has beaten the Saibamen, the bigger of the two saiyans, Nappa, steps up to battle.
No one is even able to touch Nappa, who proves way to strong and fast for the outclassed humans. Choazu comes the closest when he attempts to pull Nappa into an alternate dimension (kill him), but Nappa blocks just in time and Choazu ends up dead. Tien goes into a rage, and launches a suicide attack against the giant alien. Before Nappa finally kills Tien, he chops his arm off. Nappa is a little bruised after the fight with Tien but he is pretty unharmed. Just as Nappa goes to fight against the remaining 3 fighters, Vegeta calls a time out to give Kakorot (Goku) time to arrive on the scene. The 3 hour time out expires and the fighting resumes. Nappa launches a blast at Gohan, and Piccolo jumps in front of the blast and takes the shot. Piccolo dies from Nappa's blast, but Gohan is spared. Nappa's assault continues against Gohan and Krillin. Enter Goku!!
Goku makes sport of Nappa for a bit before eventually Vegeta, sick of his partner's incompetence, kills Nappa. That leaves Vegeta and Goku to battle it out. The fights runs to a stalemate before Vegeta pulls out his ace, a blast of energy meant to mimic the full moon. Vegeta goes into Oozaru, big monkey, form and starts to convincingly win the fight. Eventually the cowardly Yajirobe comes to the rescue cutting off Vegeta's tail. Goku blasts him with a kamehameha, sending him far far away. Yajirobe leaves before Vegeta can come back, and Goku tries to gather what little energy he has left for the rest of the fight.
After the battle ends and Vegeta retreats back to space, Goku, Krillin, and Gohan are rushed to the hospital. Krillin and Gohan are out in no time but Goku isn't so lucky. He's in a near body cast. Now that Piccolo has died that means Kame has died, due to their link. So Bulma decides to lead an expedition to Kame's home planet, Namek, to use their dragon balls to revive their fallen comrades. They acquire Kame's old ship and take off for the far away planet. They run into a couple obstacles along the way, a fake mockup of Namek with some malicious aliens, and a spaceship filled with refugees who think they are the bad guys. But they eventually arrive on the Namek. Goku gets out of the hospital when Yajirobe brings him a Sensu Bean to heal him. He gets a ship from Bulma's father, Dr. Briefs, and heads toward Namek to help his friends.

Frieza Saga:

After Gohan, Krillin, and Bulma arrive on Namek, they discover that evil forces are already at work on Namek looking for the Dragon Balls also. They search high and low for dragon balls, but usually come up empty handed. Soon Vegeta arrives on Namek as well and pursues the dragon balls too. Vegeta clashes with Frieza's forces time and time again, as Gohan and Krillin avoid anyone they come across. Eventually they meet some of the Nameks and head to see Guru, the elder Namek, who opens up their hidden power. During the mad hunt for the dragon balls, Vegeta battles and kills Zarbon, Dodoria, and Cooey, three of Frieza's strongest minions. Vegeta steals the dragon balls from Frieza and is only missing one, the one Gohan found. To beat Frieza, Krillin, Gohan, and Vegeta team up against the great evil.
Frieza is infuriated by Vegeta's insolence, and calls for the Ginyu force, his super squadron of dancing morons. Once the Ginyu Force arrives they catch up with Vegeta and the others and prepare to take the dragon balls. Captain Ginyu takes the balls back to Frieza while the others decide who gets to kill Krillin, Vegeta, and Gohan. Guldo, the frog-looking weakling of the bunch, goes first against Gohan and Krillin. The fight seems to be going in Gohan's favor when Guldo catches them off guard and it looks like they could be done for. Vegeta, however, still needs them, so he kills Guldo and saves Gohan and Krillin. Recoome steps up next to fight. He pretty much beats the hell out of all 3 of them. He beats up Vegeta, then Krillin, and finally Gohan. Just when it looks like Gohan is done in, here comes Goku.
Goku finally shows up, stronger than ever after training in 100 times earth gravity. He stops Recoome with one blow, then Burter and Jeice burst into action to defeat this new threat. He stops them pretty easily and Jeice retreats to summon Captain Ginyu to help. The captain shows up to settle things. After he sees how strong Goku really is, Ginyu pulls a special attack that switches their bodies. Goku is stuck in Ginyu's body, as the Captain flies off with Jeice to fool Gohan and Krillin. Gohan and Krillin fight Ginyu, and when Vegeta joins in it turns into a massacre. Vegeta kills the unconscious Burter, and Recoome. Then while Gohan and Krillin fight Ginyu, Vegeta chases down and kills Jeice. With that finished, Vegeta beats on Ginyu for a while. Ginyu gets ready to take Vegeta's body, but Goku jumps in the way at the last minute to get his body back. Then when Ginyu tries again, Goku throws a frog in the path of the beam. With Ginyu in a frog's body, the battle with the Ginyus is finally done. The new team of Goku, Vegeta, Gohan and Krillin go to Frieza's ship to heal and prepare for Frieza's eminent arrival. Gohan and Krillin wait for Vegeta to fall asleep and go to make their wish with the dragon balls. They bring Piccolo back to life, and transport him to Namek to help fight Frieza. But before they can get their 3rd wish Vegeta wakes up and shows up on the scene. Before Vegeta can get his wish granted, Guru dies and the dragon balls become useless. It's about this time that Frieza arrives and he's not in a good mood.
After Vegeta and the guys fight Frieza for a little bit, Piccolo merges with the fallen Namek warrior Nail, and arrives on the scene to help. Frieza goes into his second form and spears Krillin. Dende however heals Krillin before he dies. Gohan steps up to fight Frieza and gets beat pretty bad, but Dende heals him too. Piccolo puts up the best fight against Frieza. Frieza goes into his third form and Piccolo can barely handle the new battle mate. By the time Frieza reaches his fourth form Piccolo is pretty outmatched. Before Frieza goes to 4th form, Vegeta talks Krillin into blasting him and then getting Dende to heal him to massively buildup his power. Soon after Frieza's fourth form, he kills little Dende, after seeing the tiny Namek's ability to heal the others. The fighters put up a pretty useless fight against the super-powerful Frieza. Not even Vegeta can touch him.
Goku shows up right as Frieza kills Vegeta, and it looks like Goku has the upper hand for a while. But Frieza proves too much for even Goku to handle. Even after hitting him with a high powered Spirit Bomb attack Frieza still keeps coming. But then Frieza kills Krillin. Goku goes into a terrible rage at this latest atrocity by the evil warlord. Goku starts teeming with new power and he achieves the form of Super Saiyan. A high powered, blonde haired, blue eyes fighting machine. The fight starts turning against Frieza so to ensure his victory he blasts Namek's core, setting the planet to explode in mere moments. Goku and Frieza fight for a good long time until Frieza makes a mistake and ends up sliced up. Goku gives Frieza a small amount of energy so he can survive the blast of the planet's explosion, but Frieza uses this energy to attack Goku. The super saiyan goes ahead and finishes the job, killing Frieza.
After the Nameks and everyone else on the planet, except Goku and Frieza, are wished to the Planet Earth, the heroes use the dragon balls to wish everyone back to life. Goku refuses to come back to Earth because he is not dead and he is training with his new power. Everything returns to something resembling normal and the Nameks go to their home on New Namek.

Android Saga:

After Vegeta has returned from his search for Goku, he and his new allies, the Z warriors, notice a mysterious youth in the distance fighting 2 strange enemies. It is Trunks! Vegeta's son from the future. He comes back with medicine for Goku's heart condition, that Goku doesn't even know he has. Frieza was rebuilt by his father King Cold, and the duo comes to Earth to exact revenge. Trunks makes quick work of the two of them and delivers a warning to the Z warriors that in 3 years the Earth will fall to a group of malicious androids. Trunks leaves to return to his own time, promising to return in 3 years.
After Trunks came to the past at the end of the Frieza Saga and warned the Z Warriors about the coming Androids, everyone trained for 3 years in anticipation of the day the Androids would arrive to destroy mankind. Gohan, Goku, and Piccolo retreat to the mountains to train for the Androids arrival, while Vegeta trains under 450 times Earth Gravity, still trying to surpass Goku. Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, and Choazu train hard for the coming battles. Then after their 3 years of training, the Group of Warriors meets up on an island near where Trunks first arrived. Bulma is there waiting for them, with a baby in her arms!! She tells everyone it is Trunks, the son of her and Vegeta!! Yajirobe shows up in a hovercraft to deliver some Senzu Beans from Karin for the coming fight. Just as he is leaving, Yajirobe's hovercraft explodes (unfortunately he is safe and sound) and the group notices the adroids terrorizing a town nearby. Thus begins the epic battle with the Androids.
The warriors split up to search for the Androids, and Yamcha is attacked and beaten by one of them. Sensing his dying power the others go to his aid. Krillin takes Yamcha to Bulma to get a Senzu Bean, while the rest of the Warrior and the two androids go off to a more deserted place to battle. Goku begins battling with Android 19 and is winning but weakly, and suddenly suffers his heart failure. Android 19 kicks him around for a bit before trying to absorb more of Goku's energy. A revived Yamcha, Krillin, and Gohan tell everyone about the Androids' ability to absorb people's power. Vegeta jumps in and saves Goku. Vegeta powers up into SSJ, to everyone's surprise, and defeats Android 19. Android 20, now realizing that he underestimated the Z Warriors' powers, retreats. Vegeta demands a Senzu Bean to restore his used power, and takes off after Android 20, with the other Warriors right behind him.
Trunks arrives from the future and sees Android 19's head. He realizes that the Z Warriors are fighting the wrong Androids. Meanwhile, Android 20 is surrounded and tries to absorb Piccolo's energy, but Gohan comes to his rescue and Piccolo is given a Senzu Bean to recover. Bulma and Baby Trunks show up with Yarirobe and Android 20 blows up their ship to draw away attention while he made an escape. Trunks saves Bulma and Baby Trunks, and then Bulma tells her story about the Android she saw. She says that Android 20 is really Dr. Gero, the androids' maker. Dr. Gero made Android 19, so that 19 could make Dr. Gero into an Android (Number 20).
The Z Warriors discover that Number 17 and 18 (the real threat) are not awake yet, so they rush to Gero's lab to destroy them. But Gero sees what is happening and head to his lab as well. Gero beats them to his lab, and by the time the Z warriors arrive, the Androids are awakened by Gero and are wrecking their maker's lab. Number 17 beheads Gero and crushes the head. Number 17 and 18 awaken another android, Number 16 and all the Androids and the Z warriors head to a remote area to battle. The androids defeat Piccolo, Trunks, Tien, and Vegeta and then head toward Krillin. They admit to him that it was all just a game and that they would gladly fight their enemies again once they have healed. Number 16 however refuses to fight because he was created only to fight the one called Goku.

Cell Saga:

The Z Warriors move Goku to Master Roshi's house for fear that the Androids might try to kill Goku. Bulma contacts the Z Warriors and tells them that she saw a time machine like Trunks's. Trunks and Gohan fly out to look at the machine and find an egg shell nearby. In a town near them, a monster is absorbing people left and right. Piccolo, fearing that he will never be strong enough to stop the Androids, decides to fuse back with Kame. When Piccolo arrives, Kame tells him about the horrible creature attacking Gingertown. The two fuse with Piccolo as the base, and the two become one again. Piccolo flies to Ginger town to face this new threat. He encounters a horrible creature and the two fight. Cell holds Piccolo captive and absorbs an arm. Piccolo breaks free and demands to know more about his opponent before he loses his life to it. Cell agrees to Piccolo's last wish. The monster says it is called Cell, another one of Dr. Gero's creations. When Trunks returned to the future and killed Androids 17 and 18 of that time, Cell killed Trunks and stole his time machine to return to the past where the Androids were still alive. Cell reveals about how Dr. Gero abandoned the project on him but left the computer on to develop him on its own. In order to reach perfect form, he needed the beings of two figures crucial to the powerup - Androids 17 and 18. As newly hatched, he needed energy. That is why he has been absorbing people. Piccolo swears that he will not allow Cell to reach his perfect form. Then, he tears off his useless limb and regenerates his arm. The two fight again, but Cell runs off and evades Piccolo as it gathers more energy. Piccolo and the other give chase after the new menace.
The Androids head for Goku's house, terrorizing everyone in their path, and find he is not there. They then head for Master Roshi's house, still viewing the whole thing as a game. Gokou recovers from his illness and, hearing everything while asleep, prepares to join in fighting. Goku goes to Gohan and then to Vegeta and Trunks to tell them all of a place where you can train for the equivalent of a year but in only one day. All of them go to Kame's Lookout to enter the Room of Spirit and Time. Only two people can enter the room at a time however, so Vegeta and Trunks go in first. Meanwhile, Cell has gained enough strength to finally go looking for the Androids to achieve his perfect form. The Androids reach Roshi's house and Piccolo leads them to a nearby island to fight. As the two fight, Cell shows up on their island battleground. Cell easily beats Piccolo and heads for Android 17. Android 17 knows nothing about Cell and thinks of him as just another unworthy opponent, but Cell also easily beats the Number 17. Before Cell is able to absorb Android 17, Android 16 joins the fight. Android 16 overwhelms Cell. Cell becomes buried in a pile of rubble, but emerges atop Android 17 and absorbs him. Cell changes into form 2 and easily beats Number 16 with his newfound strength. Once he had a chance to go find Android 18, Tien arrives and tried to battle Cell for himself. Tien then uses Kikoho to push him back until he can do no more, so Goku comes just in time and transported him to Kami's place. Cell then heads for Android 18 to devours her, but Vegeta comes and started to easily defeat him using his new Super Saiyan strength. Being weak and humiliated, Cell convinces Vegeta to let him turn into his final form so that Vegeta can test out his true strength. Cell then absorbed Android 18 and reaching Perfect Cell. Afterwards, Vegeta was no match for Cell and beats him until he was to and inch of his life. Trunks immediately stepped in and showed that he was much stronger than Vegeta. Trunks started to defeat Cell for awhile, but then after got his ass beat. Meanwhile, the Saiyans finish their training in the room of Spirit and Time, and Bulma rebuilds Android 16, who joins the Z Warriors.
Cell, in his infinite arrogance, announces the Cell Game, a tournament to give people the chance to fight him, one on one. If Cell survives, he will destroy the Earth. Goku and Cell battle to a standstill. Goku suddenly stops fighting and says that he will let Gohan take his place. Goku even gives Cell a Senzu Bean to keep things even! Gohan says that Goku is making him fight because when he gets angry his power rises unbelievably. Cell wants to see Gohan's hidden power, so he begins to beat Gohan mercilessly to force him to get angry. But no matter what Gohan never gets angry enough to fight back. Goku watches patiently and keeps anyone else out of the fight. Android sneaks up on Cell since the androids cant power up. Number 16 puts Cell in an arm lock and tells everyone to clear out so he can activate the Self Destruct mechanism that Dr. Gero put inside all his Androids. But Krillin yells to him that Bulma removed it when she put him back together. Cell laughs at 16's ignorance and destroys him again.
Cell gets tired of waiting for Gohan to get angry and threatens to kill the spectators. Cell flies to Krillin to steal his bag of Senzu Beans and heads back to Gohan. Cell creates 7 little clones, the Cell Jr's, to battle the spectators. Gohan watches helplessly as the Cell Jr's attack his friends. In the background, Mr. Satan and a camera crew had been documenting the tournament. Number 16's head lands near Mr. Satan and demands to be taken near Gohan so that he can tell Gohan how to save the world. After much reluctance, Mr. Satan slowly walks out intot he ring and throws the head toward Gohan, then slinks back behind a rock like the coward he truely is. Android 16's head encourages Gohan to fight, until Cell finally noticing the exchange between the two, crushes the head of Android 16. This sends Gohan into a rage and he powers up to SSJ2. Gohan steals the Senzu Beans back from Cell and easily beats the Cell Jr's. Gohan beats on Cell for awhile, forcing the enemy to power up to 100%. Cell can still not beat Gohan. Gohan lands a tough kick to the body of Cell forcing Android 18 back out, and forcing Cell to degrade to his 2nd form. Seeing no way to win in an even weaker form, Cell activates his self-destruct sequence. To save the Earth, Goku teleports Cell to King Kai's planet. Cell explodes and King Kai's tiny planet is destroyed. Goku, King Kai, Bubbles, and Gregory die in the blast.
The Z Warriors are all standing around in disbelief, when a fireball out of nowhere flies through Trunks's body. The heros look up to find Cell, in his perfect form, smiling down on them. Here we go again!
Cell explains that when he exploded, a single brain cell remained, from which he rebuilt himself. And due to his Saiyan DNA, the beast was able to come back stronger than before, in his perfect form. Vegeta gets mad and fires multiple blasts at Cell, but Cell stands by unharmed. Cell knocks Vegeta out and fires a shot at his helpless body. Gohan however zips over to Vegeta and takes the blast for him, rising battered and bloody. Cell and Gohan begin a Kamehameha duel, but it comes to a stalemate. Through King Kai, Goku yells encouragement his son. The remaining Z Warriors (Yamcha, Tien, Krillin, and Piccolo) fire all they have at Cell, but to no avail. Vegeta wakes back up and gets angry at the show of force from these low class Saiyans, Gohan and Goku. He fires a blast borne of hatred at Cell and it is powerful enough to distract the mighty creature. Goku yells to Gohan that this is his chance to finish Cell for good. Gohan puts all he has into his Kamehameha, and disintegrates Cell.
The Z Warriors head victoriously to Kame's Lookout, and Vegeta flies away, disbelieving that Gohan could be stronger than he. Mr. Satan and the news reporters wake up, and Mr. Satan, seeing the empty battlefield, takes all the credit for Cell's destruction. As the world celebrates Mr. Satan, the Z Warriors rest in Kame's Lookout, with Dende (the new Kame) who heals Gohan and Trunks. Android 18 awakens after the battle and the Z Warriors prepare for another battle. Krillin stops them from killing her and she flies away to the background of the Warriors joking on how Krillin has a crush on her. The Z Warriors gather the Dragon Balls and prepare to make their wishes. First they wish to remove all the bombs from inside the Androids. Then they wish to bring back all those killed by Cell. Goku however cannot be brought back, but he tells everyone through King Kai that it's ok. The Z Warriors all reflect on Goku's life. Mr. Satan emerges the savior of Earth, and Gohan goes off to tell his mother the terrible news about his Dad.

Buu Saga:

The Buu Saga starts out with the Tenkachi Bodoukai, and Goku being resurrected for only one day so that he can fight. Soon Doubler, the prince of darkness, turns Krillin and Piccolo to stone on the mountainside. Gohan, Goku, Vegeta and Ka-oo-shin travel into Babidee's space ship looking for this new menace. Babidee is trying to gather enough energy to resurrect Majin Buu, so he makes a game out of the warriors. He sends a warrior out to fight the heroes one at a time on each floor. Vegeta begins the game by devastating Babidee's first low class fighter. Goku takes on the second and wins overwhelmingly. But when it comes to the third fight, Gohan does not have such an easy time with the Prince of Darkness, Doubler. Doubler leaves half way through the battle saying that it was because he found another warrior for this 3rd out of the 5 stages of the ship. Babidee uses his magic to charm Vegeta, creating a new enemy for Goku -- Majin Vegeta!
Majin Vegeta and the Heroes get sent to the Martial Arts arena. After Majin Vegeta kills a few hundred people, Goku finally agrees to fight him. Disobeying Kai-oo-shin, Goku requests Babidee send them somewhere uninhabited. Vegeta finally admits to Goku that he allowed himself to be charmed so that he could finally battle Goku.
The titanic battle takes place, and the energy released from the battle is enough for Babidee to awaken Fat Buu. The two go flying around Earth, spreading mayhem and despair wherever they go. Majin Vegeta knocks out Goku but realizes that Good will always triumph in the end. He sees how useless his evil ways have been, and Vegeta finally becomes truly good. Majin Vegeta finds Buu and self destructs hoping that his sacrifice will destroy Buu. Unfortunately it is not enough and Buu survives.
Goku finally steps up to bat against Fat Buu, but cannot beat him. His rage sends him into SSJ3 for the first time. About this time Bulma begins gathering the dragon balls to wish back all those killed by the Majins. Buu gets angry at being Babidee's slave, so he turns on Babidee and kills him. Fat Buu, in an attempt to purify himself, splits into a Good Buu and an Evil Buu. The two battle and the Evil Buu wins, resulting in a trimmed down, more muscular version of Fat Buu.
Gohan travels to Kai-oo-shin's planet to train. He dons a native suit and begins using the Z sword. He learns how to use his hidden power without requiring the rage that it takes to go SSJ. Everyone else goes to Kame's Lookout, where Goku teaches Goten and Trunks how to fuse to become Gotenks. Goku then teleports to Kai-oo-shin's planet to watch everything from there. Buu senses this huge power and travels to Kame's Lookout to search out this huge power. Gotenks goes into training, and Piccolo tricks Buu into waiting in a room in which time moves slower than the room Gotenks is training in. Chichi starts to scold Buu for killing so many innocent people. Buu turns Chichi into an egg and squashes her (THANK GOD!!).
Buu eventually gets sick of waiting for them to come out and demands to be taken to the boys. Piccolo takes him into the room and Gotenks battles with Buu for a while. The fight reaches a stalemate when Piccolo blasts the door to trap everyone in the room, so that Buu cannot kill anymore people. Buu uses his power to create a portal and exits the room. Gotenks tries and fails to make a portal but then goes SSJ3 and has the power to pull it off. Gotenks battles Buu in his new form and is winning and knocks Buu back to the Earth, however, Kame's Lookout is destroyed in the process. Gotenks and Piccolo go back to Earth to look for Buu's body, but find that he is far from dead. Before Gotenks can continue his attack the Fusion wears off and Goten and Trunks unfused are not strong enough to stand against Buu.
Gohan finishes his training and puts on a suit like his Dad's before leaving to help his friend's on Earth. Goku wants to go help but cannot because he is dead. Gohan appears on Earth and battles Buu until Buu self Destructs and the Z warriors think they have won. The fly away and see Buu flying at them. Goten and Trunks fuse into Gotenks again, but while Gotenks is distracted Buu absorbs him. Now much stronger than before, Buu launches an attack against Gohan. Buu throws a fireball at Gohan but it is blocked by another Fireball thrown by Tien.
Goku is brought back to life because Dai Kai-oo-shin trades his life for Goku's. Kai-oo-shin gives Goku the Fusion Earrings and shows him how to use them so that Goku and Gohan can fuse and beat Buu. Meanwhile King Yama grants Vegeta life so that he can help save the Earth. Just as Buu is about to launch another fireball at Gohan, Goku appears and save the day, cutting Buu in almost in half. He gives Gohan one of the earrings and they prepare to fuse. Just then, Buu's dissected parts start to absorb some of the Z warriors (Piccolo, Tien, and even Gohan.) Buu is now fully powered up and Goku is feeling hopelessness weigh down on him.
Here comes Vegeta!!! Vegeta shows up to help Goku (this is a first! :) ), and Goku tells him about the fusion. Vegeta finds the earring that Gohan dropped and puts it on. Goku and Vegeta fuse to form Vegetto. Vegetto beats up on Buu for awhile, but gets absorbed on purpose to rescue his absorbed friends. Vegetto's fusion is canceled out by the absorption and Vegeta and Goku go off to search for their friends. Piccolo, Gohan, Trunks, Goten, Goku, Vegeta from Buu's pores and are returned to normal size. Buu has, however, absorbed enough energy to reach his original form, and Buu is now whole again. Buu launches a fireball that will destroy the Earth and with the help of Kai-oo-shin, Goku teleports Vegeta, Goten, Gohan, Trunks, Piccolo, Mr. Satan, and Dende to Kai-oo-shin's planet where they escape the Earth's destruction. Buu teleports and follows the escapees. Goku fights Buu and is beaten badly, then Vegeta steps up and is beaten also. Buu is about to kill Vegeta when Mr. Satan taunts him and draws off his attentions. Good Buu escapes from within Buu and the two fight until Good Buu is knocked out. Buu continues to fight Goku and Vegeta. Vegeta tells Kai-oo-shin to gather the Namekian Dragon Balls and wish back the Earth and all its inhabitants. The only people left now to face Buu are Goku and Vegeta, as everyone else was sent back to Earth. Vegeta distracts Buu while Goku builds up his Spirit Bomb. The heroes back on Earth try to convince everyone to raise their hands and donate their energy to Goku's Spirit Bomb, but none listens. Then Mr. Satan, who is still a hero to the people, raises his hands prompting everyone else to do the same. Goku is now ready.
Goku launches his Spirit Bomb, but Buu holds it back. Kai-oo-shin makes his final wish and restores Goku's energy so he can increase the strength of his Spirit Bomb. Buu is destroyed the the Z warriors are victorious. Fat Buu awakens and his life is spared for saving Mr. Satan's life earlier. Fat Buu joins the Z warriors.
Goten and Trunks are teenagers (still making trouble). Gohan marries Videl and they have a daughter named Pan. Buu becomes Ubuu, a purely good version of Buu. Goku trains Ubuu, and all is well.
Dragonball GT:

Bebi Era:

Ten years have passed, Goku had left with Ubuu to train him. Now the boy has progressed greatly and both enjoy a combat in the palace of God. The appearance of one of Goku's old enemies changes everything. Pilaf (from Dragonball), discoveres some Dragonballs with black stars in them. Thinking that there is no difference, he calls upon the dragon, but is discovered by Goku. Pilaf, seeing that he can't do a thing against him, whispers to himself that if Goku where still a little kid it would be easier for him to defeat him. The dragon hears the wish and grants it. Now goku is a kid again, that's not the worse part of it, King Ki informs them that if they don't get those dragonballs (that are gathered through the universe) before one year passes, the planet in which the wish was made will be destroyed (the planet Earth). At hearing this, Bulma and Gohan prepare a spaceship for the search that Goku, Trunks, and Goten are to make. The bad thing is that Pan, also wants to go, and was mad because she was not able to go and makes accidentally makes the ship leave (with her inside), leaving Goten behind.
The three (Goku, Trunks, and Pan) are now about to begin there search, but a part of the ship gets broken so they must stop in a planted called Imegga. There, they meet and steal a small robot, because it ate the dragon radar. The robot's name is Gill (Now the dragon radar and Gill are one).
On that planet they defeat a being the name of Don Keer, because he had taken their space ship. They get their ship back, fix it and continue their search.
Thanks to Gill, they find two balls in the planets Moonmars and Kelbo, but in the last planet, an unknown character steals it. They stop their chase and discover that this character (Bonpara), along with two assistants (Donpara y Sonpara) work for the master Orador, that wants to resurect the God of destruction Loud. In the end the god awakens, although the master Orador get to converts Pan into a doll for a while, he is defeated. During these adventures we meet a character by the name of Dr. Myu. One of Dr. Myu's project is Bebi. Baby is the only surviving Tsufuru of Planet Plant, which was destroyed by the Saiyans back when the Saiyans worked as mercenaries for Frieza. As the only survivor, Bebi wants revenge on all Saiyans, innocent or guilty. Dr. Myu found Bebi in space and saved him. Bebi has the power to take over bodies and acquire his victims' power. Later, Baby takes over Dr. Myuu's body and kills him in the betrayal.
Following this trip they find another dragonball in the planet Luzede and are lead by Gill to a planet where there are millions of copies of him (Gill). This planet is property of its creator, Dr. Myu, that along with his bodyguard Rilld, plans to gather the energy of the Saiyans to give life to his creation: the mutant Bebi. Although they are defeated by Rilld, they are not able to extract enough energy and Bebi is brought back to life incomplete, and is defeated easily. Bebi then pocesses Rilld and later escapes pocessing Dr. Myu. They have no problems defeating Rilld, and without being able stop Dr. Muy, they leave on their journey with the now regretting Gill. Gill discovers another dragonball and although small, ends up being another procession of Baby (even after Bebi has left their bodies, an egg stays inside them and they are zombies). In the end he dominates Trunks, but through a mental fight, he is able to undue himself from his control and continues on his mission. Not to long before they unite all of the dragonballs, Bebi is able to get to Earth and possesses Gohan and Goten, which cause Vegeta to be introduced. Bebi then decides on a body, Vegeta's! Now he is known as Bebi-Vegeta, and destroys Gill. Pan is able to save herself because Buu, saves her along with Satan. Mr. Popo, also under the control of Bebi, makes a wish to make a new Planet Plant, Bebi's original planet. The new planet appears and since it has no inhabitants, he decides to trap humans in it.
Meanwhile, Goku discovers a way to defeat Bebi-Vegeta, and for this he needs for his tail to grow back again. Now with a tail, Goku travels to Planet Plant, even not in SSJ3 he is able to defeat Bebi, and is defeated easily. It is now, that he is half dead, looks at the full Earth (yeah just like the full moon) and transforms into Oozaru, although now he has a gold coat. At first he losses control and starts destroying everything, but thanks to Pan he calms down. Now he goes through another transformation, Super Saiyan 4 Goku, and he now has a reddish coat. He is now conscious and puts Pan in a safe place and faces Bebi-Vegeta. Goku is now a lot stronger than Bebi. So now Bulma (under mind control as well), invents a gadget to make her husband to transform into Oozaru, making the tables turn. After a long and hard battle, both end up on the floor and unconscious. In this moment, Kaio-shin discovers a way to release everyone from Bebi's mind control. It is called Chou-zui water. Kaio-shin goes to Sky Palace to get the Chou-sui water. Dende and Popo are the first cleansed. This water is spread to everyone. Gohan, Goten, Trunks, (now free from Baby's control) and Pan surround Goku and form a circle to donate their energy to Goku. Goku and Bebi-Vegeta face each other once again. Goku does a Kame-hame-ha and defeats Bebi-Vegeta. Bebi leaves Vegeta's body and runs to a space capsule to escape, but is killed.
It is all over now, but now the worse has come. Since the Dragonballs were used again (to make a planet Plant), the Earth will be destroyed within two weeks. Goku and Kaio-shin transport everyone on Earth to planet Plant, but Piccolo refuses to leave the Earth, he tells them the he and the Earth are one, and if the Earth should die, so should he, because he loved it so much. He is left on Earth to die, and the Earth explodes and disappears. Thanks to the Namek Dragonballs, the Earth is brought back, Piccolo is still dead, and everything is back to normal.

Super 17 & Evil Shenglong Era:

Dr. Gero and Dr. Myuu team up in hell to create a being known as Android Artificial 17. They make a portal in order to go back into the land of the living and escape to Earth. Artificial 17 seeks Android 17 in order to fuse with him and transform himself into Super 17, and he does. In hell, Cell and Frieza had also been upgraded by the scientists, and had planned to take over hell. Goku falls for the plot and gets tricked into going to hell to fight Cell and Frieza. Without Goku on Earth, our heroes don't stand a chance against Super 17. During battle, Dr. Gero is held hostage. With Dr. Myuu's command, Super 17 kills Dr. Gero anyway. Later, Dr. Myuu also gets betrayed and killed. However, Krillin and #18 have also perished in battle. Meanwhile, Nappa escaped to Earth and Vegeta kills him again. Goku defeats Cell and Frieza, but is stuck in hell. Picollo, who is in heaven, causes chaos in order to be sent to hell where he can help Goku go back to Earth. With a Namek trick, Piccolo and Dende create a portal thait allows Goku to enter back to Earth. A battle between Goku and Super 17 follows, and Super 17 is killed.
In order to bring #18 and Krillin back to life, the Dragonballs were gathered. When Shenlong is summoned, something goes wrong. Shenlong appears, but he looks a bit different and laughs wickedly, he is evil. Our heroes learn that the dragonballs have cracked due to negative energy that stored inside the balls when negative wishes were made. A cloud appears around the evil Shenlong, and it transforms into seven evil dragons, each of a dragonball. The dragons fly off in different directions and wreck chaos. Each dragon has its own element. When it finds that element, it will take on its true form.
Goku and Pan fly off to fight these dragons. First, they encounter Ryan-Shenlong. Ryan-Shelong tells that he was born when Bora was wished back to life. This dragon of the 2 star dragonball is of water pollution. It was tricked into swimming in clean water. After it was weakened by this action, Gokou and Pan attack and kill it. The 2 star dragonball is restored. Goku and Pan follow the dragon radar's signal and encounter Uu-Shenlong. It was born in the 5 star dragonball when Gokou was wished back to life to fight Radditz. This dragon of electricity was weakened in rain and destroyed in its weakened state. The 5 star dragonball is recovered.
Ryuu-Shenlong is the next to appear. This dragon was born when Oolong made the wish for women's underwear while fleeing from Pilaf. This dragon possesses the power of hurricanes. Gokou learns of its weakness and attacks it on the head. Ryuu-Shenlong was easily defeated and the 6 star dragonball was restored.
Following this, Goku and Pan fly to Chii-Shenlong, which was born in the 7 star dragonball when all the people killed by Majin- Vegeta were wished back to life. Pan gets tricked and becomes trapped in the dragon's body. Goku rescues her and destroys Chii-Shenlong. Another dragonball is recovered.
Suu-Shenlong is next for Goku and Pan to encounter. It was born when Piccolo was wished back to life. This dragon of the sun is associated with the 4 star dragonball. It challenges Goku in a match and the two fight. All of a sudden, San-Shenlong, Suu-Shenlong's brother and of the 3 star dragonball, appears. After getting mocked by his brother for losing honor in interfering with the match, the dragon of ice fights Goku anyway. It is slayed in battle, and Goku and Suu-Shenlong continue their match. Goku admires Suu-Shenlong's sense of honor.
The match becomes interfered again when another third party kills Suu-Shenlong. This party is Ii-Shenlong, of the 1 star dragonball. Goku defeats it in Super Goku 4 stage, but the dragon survived. It defeats Pan and steals all the restored dragonballs. Ii-Shenlong fuses with the balls and powers up. Super Goku 4 is no match for it in its fused state.
Bulma created a brute ray that allowed Vegeta to go Super level 4, and Super Vegeta 4 joins Goku in battle. The two are still no match for Ii-Shenlong. Another stategy is used: Super Goku 4 and Super Vegeta 4 fuse and become Super Gogeta (Gozita) 4! Ii-Shenlong is kicked around and the dragonballs it fused with are restored, but the fusion of Super Gogeta 4 wears off before Ii-Shenlong is killed. Ii-Shenlong fuses with the dragonballs once again, but Goku gets to the 4 star dragonball before Ii-Shenlong can and swallows it so that the dragon can't fuse with it. Eventually, Goku spits the dragonballs back out and Ii-Shenlong absorbs it. Vegeta suggests to use fusion again, but Goku is too weak to go Super level 4. Therefore, he remains in his small size; he cannot fuse with Vegeta in this state due to size differences. Ii-Shenlong boasts to kill Goku and Vegeta.
One last chance of hope remains. Goku begins to create a Genki-Dama. Everyone on Earth raises their hands to donate energy to Goku. Goku teleports to Kaio and asks that the energy is not enough. The Kaios agree to help seek life forms across the galaxy to help donate energy to Goku. All the characters encountered in space in the Baby Series are shown again and they raise their hands. Goku's giant Genki-Dama is created and it destroys Ii-Shenlong.
All the dragonballs are restored to normal, but something is wrong. Shenlong appears without being summoned and tells that he will not make any more wishes because of all the trouble the dragonballs have caused. Goku convinces it to make the final wish of restoring all the civilians killed during the fights against the dragons. The wish is granted, and Goku is told to ride on Shenlong's back. Goku does so. Chi-Chi and her sons go home to prepare a big feast while awaiting Goku's return, unaware what's going on. Pan notices Goku's tattered clothes on the ground and asks if her grandpa is gone for good. Vegeta replies that he is. On the dragon's back, Goku visits the Z warriors. At the end, Goku lies down and the dragonballs are absorbed into Goku and Goku disappears. Shenlong coils up and flies at the camera. The screen turns white.

As for the epilogue:

100 years have passed and Goku Jr. (Pan's grandson) is at the latest Boudaikai Tenkaichi tournament. He and Vegeta Jr. (Vegeta' descendant) are about to compete. The two boys go Super Saiyan level and fight. Pan is a spectator in the audience, and notices a familiar face in the crowd it is adult Goku watching the fight at the other side of the stadium. Pan goes to him, but loses him in the crowd. Goku walks away, and clips of Dragonball-Z-GT are shown.
And Dragonball sadly comes to an end.
