A Short History of Me
My name is Pete Scranton and I was born in a small town called Fremont, OH. The picture shows my parents, brother and sister. I believe the picture was taken for our church directory. I attended Grace Lutheran Church until I left for college.

My elementary school was about a 10 minute drive from my house. Croghan elementary school is where my father and both of my siblings went as well. The green sign in the picture was purchased by my student government. We raised money by selling candy and school supplies to students and visitors to the school. When I was in elementary school I actively participated in any sport offered by our community. |

When I was in seventh through ninth grade I went to what was then called Fremont Ross Junior High School. I believe this was called so because the freshmen class attended the school. At the time I attended we were the seventh largest middle school in the United States. I played basketball here for all three years and it is in junior high that I first lettered in soccer and tennis. |

My high school is Fremont Ross, the home of the Little Giants. We got the name, we were previously the Panthers, because a radio announcer said our football team played like little giants and the name stuck. We are home to several professional athletes. I was a stand-out high school soccer and tennis player. I never lost a set in conference play in all four years that I played tennis. |
Fremont Ross is also the high school I graduated from. Here is a picture of my family at my graduation.
I currently attend Eastern Michigan University and major in Philosophy and English, Professional Writing. I am graduating in only two and a half years. I also spent last the summer of 2001 studying philosophy in Europe. I traveled through England, France, Germany, Austria, the Czech and Italy. You can find out more about my trip with the Eastern Cultural History tour and my school at their Website. Eastern Michigan University
Since I went to Eastern Michigan University I have joined a service-orientated honors fraternity known as Phi Sigma Pi. This is a picture of a few of my brothers. We are a very diverse group of people. You can use the picture as a link to our fraternity Webpage.
