In Cosmic Era (CE) 167 Many years after the war between the Naturals and Coordinators. The solar system returned back to peace. There were only a few fights and battles through the time, by people who refused to go with the flow and except that the main war was over. Times were easy and the need for Mobile Suits were coming to an end. Until an evil commander with the nickname "God of Darkness" took control over an ancient Syndicate, which begin to start a rokus among the colonies. With the Earth Alliance obsolete after the truce was formed between ZAFT and the Earth Alliance. It at first seems that there was no force strong enough to stand up to this Syndicate. War broke between the colonies because of the MidNight Illusionz Syndicate influences on them and manipulation of them, making them think that each other were enemies. The Syndicate then moved in and began to take control over the damaged governments of the colonies that were doing battle with each other. As soon as the "God of Darkness" gained enough power on his side, he declared war on Earth. Knowing that they had no force that was strong enough to defeat his MidNight Illusionz Syndicate. The governments of Earth were at a loss because they wasn't expecting a threat of this proportion so soon. Soon the "God of Darkness" and his syndicate began to attack important points of Earth. At one point it seemed that earth was going to fall to the syndicate's power.

But then a young leader stood up. And united the governments of earth. He was a young soldier of a very powerful unit called Marquis Beta. Which were a mobile suit unit that kept improving their mobile suits during the time where they wasn't even needed just for a situation like this. This leader and his unit began to fight off the attacks on Earth sucessfully. Also catching the eyes of the governments of Earth. His mobile suits and technology were that of equal to the technology of the brilliant leader of the syndicate. Who had greatly advanced the mobile suits. And creating a new type of mobile doll called fuzors. Which left the normal forces of earth utherly useless. The "God of Darkness" unleashed his new creation on earth. And it even gave the young leader of the Marquis Beta a bit of trouble. And the side return back to the syndicate's hands.

The governments of Earth felt that this threat was getting to powerful.And the only way to counter it was to make the young leader the overall leader of the governments of Earth forces. As his first duty. He change their name to Marquis United. Meaning that he had took control and united all the forces of earth. He quicklybegan to work on the improvements of the Marquis United mobile suits and weaponary. Making them equal to the Syndicate's. And soon the great war was started. As both sides were now completely even. Months passed and nobody gain an upper hand. During this time. Many small organization were started because they didn't want to join either side of this war. So they decided to make their own side. As the war continued on. The "God of Darkness", decided to create a center of operation thats on earth. So he launched an attack on the Californa Base where 1 of the units from Marquis United were stationed.The attack was fierce and the syndicate took control of the base. And soon set up and 2nd HQ on Earth. Making their threat even stronger. And letting the Marquis United that they were not backing up in this war.
