NOT A POET

I'm not a poet, just a Christain, not an author, but a child of God,
Jotting down just a few indewelling thoughts, along this pathway I trod.
I enjoy writing poems for Jesus, It's one way of witnessing for Him,
Though the world may never see them, T'will be worth it if one soul I win.
�
I'm so glad that God knows my heart, for this is where He abides,
I want only to think and to speak, what the Holy Spirit provides.
I'm a daughter, a wife, and a mother, I'm sister and grandmother too,
God graciously granted me these titles, and I'm one of His chosen few.

MY EPITAPH
�
�
I'm writing now my epitaph, my own autobiography-
so that after Jesus calls me home, my works shall follow me.
I am a wife and mother, and I try to place Jesus first,
Each day he satisfies my need, of hunger and of thirst.
�
I take each day with gladness, each week, each month, each year,
I know he'll safely guide me, therefore I yield no fear.
My Lord, my husband, my children, I hold very dear to my heart,
And I want to place an example, to the world before I depart.
�
All my happiness lies in Jesus, my life is a witness to this,
The world will not bar me from Heaven, I'm looking forward to Heavenly bliss.
Where I can write poems for Jesus, and never can run out of a rhyme,
So i'll serve Him and watch for His coming,
and make the most of what's left of my time.
