![]() ![]() NURSING CLASS OF 1975 Graduation has come Can't believe that it's true I've actually completed L.P.N. School! It's August 1st, the year, '75 The last day of school, and, we're all still alive! There's laughter and joy not one with a pout Both happy and sad, that school has let out. The classroom lay empty and "still" as a mouse While back in the office new plans are laid out. For the coming new class Patricia and Maggie prepare We're proud of these two they're a remarkable pair. They taught and coached us and supervised too They've sure shown us patience to get us all through. It must have been difficult for Mrs. Martin and Mrs. Tower To keep us all quiet, and, sit through the hour. Now! Chaplain Palmer those lectures you gave Was so far over our heads they rode like a wave Now the "75" class had talent galore Poets, artists, Musicians and Photography!! and more! There were youngies and oldies and in betweens too We had only one "male" females------twenty-two. I prefer my experience to the "theory" learned Whew!! What mental exhaustion our license, we've earned. Our classes have ended, but! our brains' just begun To study for "state boards" then, the battle is won. So long everybody be seeing you soon Set your standards and goals high but not to the moon. My child-hood dream at last is a fact I followed the road kept on the track. To God be the glory t'was his will I know I shall always be grateful where ever I go. Copyright Waneta L.
