TALKING TO JESUS

Sweet Jesus, its been on my mind everyday, to write a praise to your name,
And tell all the world of your love divine, your compassion for the blind and the lame.
Opportunitys slowly passing away, your second coming is nigh.
When people have waited too late and are lost, Theyll call for mercy on high.

The Bible tells when we have faith in God, that He will answer our cries,
He made us a precious promise, that the soul of man never dies.
Now looking up to the Father on high, my heart is burdened and grieved,
For all the lost souls out in this world of sin, with no desire to believe.

Deal with them, strive with them, Lord in some way, Soften their hearts towards thee,
Help them to realize their soul will be lost, tell them salvation is free.
And when you descend from your throne on high, to gather your faithful saints
There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, the lost will be weak and will faint.

And when I see you coming again, a shining light in the sky,
Gathering the saints asleep in their graves, awaiting their home up on high.
I surely will know you when I see you there, a glorious crowned King you will be,
I will rejoice when I hear you say, Come faithful ones, follow me.

Then all of my waiting will come to an end, as you take us all by the hand,
Well join all the angels and heavenly host, as we enter the promised land.
With you, my dear Savior, and living in Glory, no memory of heartache and tears,
Our new heavenly bodies without spot or blemish, eternally with you through the years.

WOULD YOU SUFFER AS JESUS DID?

All through his life, Jesus prayed and he wept, for souls that were lost without God,
They laughed and they mocked him and put him to scorn as down the death road he trod.
Jesus suffered and died on the old rugged cross, we all know the story today,
He bore all our sin and in agony he died, And during his life he showed us the way.

Our trials and temptations grow stronger each day, no greater than Jesus went through,
Wont you consider the price he had paid, and beg his mercy on you?
Be a part of his love, turn away from this world, let Jesus come into your life,
Resurrection will come, and the days drawing nigh, Gods wrath will come in great strife.

Sinner, I beg you, let Jesus come in, dont harden your hearts I pray,
For when he descends to this earth again, the sinners, his brightness will slay.
Today is the day of salvation my friend, tomorrow will then be too late,
Yield to his calling, take thought of your life, Judgment Day is holding your fate.

The price has been paid, paid by the blood of the lamb,
On Calvarys tree, he died for you and for me, Accept him and say, here I am.
When he shed all his blood, and gave up his life, the sacrifice he made was his bid!
He suffered and died on the old rugged cross, Would you suffer as Jesus did?

SEND US A REVIVAL

Lord, Im asking for something this day,
Send us a revival in an old fashioned way,
Stir up the souls out in this world of sin.
Soften their hearts that are hardened within

Lord, send us a revival, that will stir sinners hearts,
Oh, draw them dear Jesus, never let them depart.
Help us to serve you while living on earth.
Lord, send us a revival, the world needs new birth.

My heart is burdened for those who dont care,
My love and my blessings, with them would I share.
If they would just yield to your sweet spirits call,
Ill pray with them gladly, till they give you their all.

My heart is broken with tears and with grief,
As I look upon sinners I pass on the street.
No thought of salvation, redemption and strife,
No thought of the judgement, no thought for their life.

Their minds are all centered on things of this world,
Lifes pleasures are entered with hearts all unfurled.
How grateful am I that he took me in,
When I see life wasting in thios world of sin.

THE PRECIOUS OLD BOOK OF LIFE

Its a story old, from the Bible were told
Of the precious old Book of Life,
Its his promise of love, to write our names up above,
And free us from all our strife.

I know my name is written there,
Written with his own precious blood.
He died upon Calvary for you and for me,
That our names might be written above.
When we have considered our life on this earth,
And all the deeds we have done,
We can gaze up to heaven with a knowing look,
For its all been recorded in the heavenly book.

If but one soul we have won from his strife,
Or, if weve encouraged some one,
We can be thankful that its pleased our Lord,
And is recorded in the Lambs Book of Life.

That precious old book with our names written there,
We will all face it someday,
If we live true and faithful, and do all we can,
Heavens treasures were all sure to share.

So, listen, you sinner, and heed this great warning,
You better fall down on your knees,
For all things are recorded, and all brought before us,
When we awake on that great judgment morning.
