And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter,
that he may abide with you for ever. Even the Spirit of truth;
whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him:
but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while,
and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
- John 14:16-19

IT'S LATER THAN YOU THINK

The second coming of Jesus is imminent, Earths time draweth near the close,
Man should be seeking His Saviour, and witnessing to his foes.
Man has said, there is no Creator, Who do you choose to believe?
The voice of man, or the voice of HIM who Created you and me?

Satan is working overtime, he knows his time is short,
He seeks our areas of weakness, to establish a good rapport.
And in his dire rampage, his dominion and his sect,
Will never cease to capture, or fool the very elect.

We see his labors here and there, All signs are in earths view,
And every time disaster strikes, we say, Its nothing new.
True Saints are drawing closer, to God with each new day,
While weaklings are departing the faith and going astray.

We read in Pauls charge to Timothy, Chapter four, verses one and two,
The latter times he spoke about, Are here for me and you.
In Second Timothy, chapter three, verse one, we read more of the same,
So search the Scriptures daily, Youll find that lifes no game.

Paul tells us of Jesus coming, in First Thessalonians, chapter four,
Read verses thirteen through eighteen, and run the references for more.
Many signs now follow the pattern, of Noahs time, found in Gods Word,
So therell not be a one without excuse, As there are none who havent heard.

They may not have read it for themselves, but all will have heard it preached,
To the ends of the earth, through our Mission fields, Every soul that has life will be reached
All those of you who read this poem, take heed and dont delay,
Prepare yourselves for the REDEEMER, thats soon to come any day.

LUKEWARM CHRISTAINS

Many Christians today are sleeping, what a shame!
They ought to be witnessing for Jesus, Praising His name.
They should be reading, searching the Scriptures each day,
Praying down on their knees, in the Old Fashioned way.

Seeking and searching Gods Will for their life,
Drawing nearer to God in this world of strife.
Thinking an hour on Sunday will do,
Quenching the Spirit, and glued to the pew.

Satan has got them bound by the tongue,
Chained them in silence from the old to the young.
When its time to give testimony, theyre dumb and cant speak,
For Satan has got them all chained to their seat.

If he can keep them from claiming the Lord,
He will also keep them from reading Gods Word.
Christians, its time to break Satans hold,
Pray that the Lord will make you be bold.

But prayer must come from a heart thats sincere,
For this most surely, is a prayer God will hear.
Were living now in perilous times
When people tale claim unto Satans chimes;
He makles all things look good, in his own sly way,
Convinces them, theres no harm in the things of today.

People, Wake up! Recognize Satans trap,
And cleanse your heart from this bunch of crap!
Take a look in the mirror, Whats there in your face?
The image of God, or of sin and disgrace?
Should Jesus come now, for His Bride clean and pure,
Does this qualify you? Of this are you sure?

REDEMPTION DAY

What a beautiful thought I am thinking, Concerning that great Redemption Day
When my Lord comes descending from heaven, In the clouds to take his church away.
The dead in Christ will all go before us, And well rise to meet them in the air.
On this day well all be changed in an instant, when we join all our loved ones over there.

Therell never be no pain, no more crying, All former things will then have passed away.
And therell be no more heartaches and dying, For life will all be new in every way.
New heaven and new earth will last forever, He tells us of this in His Word,
Its a promise that we all can count on, Tis the best news that we ever heard.

I can hardly wait to enter that City, And Im looking forward to Redemption Day,
When I see Jesus in the clouds of heaven, coming for to carry me away.
Taking flight , in an instant, defy gravity, and land on streets of pure gold.
Walls of Jasper and a sea clear as crystal, gates of pearl and many things we are told.

Like lightening Ill be gone in an instant, And no time to say good-by,
I wont care what Ive left behind me, As upward and upward I fly.
Im so homesick to go to that City, Im looking forward to Redemption Day
What a beautiful thought I am thinking, When from this world Ill be carried away.

REDEMPTION'S STORY

What a sad thought I an thinking, Concerning the great Judgment Day,
When my Lord comes descending from Heaven, In the clouds to take His church away.
All the people will cry for a shelter, when they see the brightness of His face.
The dead in Christ will rise and go forth, to meet in that Heavenly place.

Satans people will be left a burning, in the flames of Hells consuming fire,
The sinners will pray to God a yearning But God will not answer their cry
Now God has commanded no sinning, He tells us that Hell cleanse the earth,
He speaks with omnipotent power, His plan is to give us New Birth.

The world will not hasten to hear Him, Their pleasures are hard to give up,
But when that Great Judgment Day comes upon them,
twill be too late to dine from Jesus cup
A thousand years will the saints rein with Jesus, for Satan will be bound to tempt no more
Earth will be like the garden of Eden, with perfect peace and contentment as before..
In Heaven therell be no more pain, no more crying, For all the former things have passed away,
And therell be no more heartaches or dying, For life will all be new in every way.
Then the new heaven and earth will endure forever, For God I know doth keep His Holy Word,
He has never, ever broken a promise, all my life these are the words that I have heard.

BACKSLIDING

Oh, you cant backslide and get by,
For God keeps watch from on high
He knows how were living, each hour of the day,
Theres no valid excuse if we choose the wrong way.
Sometimes we may stumble, sometimes we may fall,
Hes there to lift us when on Him we call.
We may choose to stay down and wollow in sin,
Or we can get on our knees and call out to him.
His arm is outstretched, and he offers His hand,
Hell give us His strength to once again stand.
Gods children are given a roadmap and guide,
And Jesus our Saviour walks by our side.
If you have grown cold and backslidden in Sin,
Conformed to the world and forgotten Him,
Do you think you are safe in forsaking the Lord?
Ive got news for you, its found in Gods Word,
I beg of you before its too late,
Repent of your Sins, For Death holds your fate.
