Dear Mr. Santos:

As I mentioned to you in an email the other day, I do not have the time to get into a point-by-point
discussion with you on this or any other topic. The Board of Finance will rely on the opinion of
the Town Attorney.

My reply to the above message is shown below:

Importance: High

Mr Harrison,

I sincerely apologize for bothering you.  I simply thought that since the subject relates to a
question of law, it is an important issue that it needs resolution before the next referendum.

Since you are unable to continue this discussion, I would respectfully request the Chairman of the
Town Council to respond to the points I have raised or to refer it back to the Town Attorney for a
proper response. Clearly, the Town Attorney agrees that at least one deficiency in the budget
needs to be corrected - the treatment of the BOE Special Program Fund. The other points
raised in my e-mail of June 10 were also quite specific and there is no need to go through
hundreds of lines of the Town budget.

There is no need to respond, Mr Harrison. I will wait for Mr Hines or the Town Attorney's response.

Respectfully,
V Santos
