About Me
Picture coming soon... after I've been
in the gym for a few weeks!
NAME: Graham John Frizzell.
NICKNAME: Frizzle. (Because my surname isn't pronounced that way.)
D & P.O.B.: 19 / 6 / 1982, Southampton, England.
WHY I SUPPORT SOUTHAMPTON: Much of my family was born in the clubbing mecca of the South Coast - Bournemouth. But I was born in Southampton. So it's red & white stripes for me rather than red & black.
INTERESTS: Footy (of course!) and music, music, music! I have a deep appreciation of music which spans a lot of genres, but at the top of the list would have to be US house music and very progressive house/trance. Favourite artists & DJs are: Todd Terry, Errick Morillo, Sasha, Paul Oakenfold, Nick Warren, Coldplay, Supergrass, Method Man, Moby, Mike Oldfield, Eminem (but I do prefer the sound of underground hiphop) Fear Factory and oh Gosh the list and genres go on and on!
DISLIKES: Cruelty & exploitation of animals, ALL animal sports, narrow-minded (in all conceivable interpretations.) people and most of all, bad habits! :)
AMBITIONS: I hope to be living in London in 2 years time. Originally I thought about Newcastle (to the point that I adopted NUFC as a second team!) but that move would be very difficult for a number of reasons. I really do want to tap into the music scene either as a DJ, producer or even as a drum n' bass / UK garage MC! Either way I would love to spread a message through music... other than heavy metal! (Which I used to love until I finished year 12 back in 1999.) Speaking of education, I would like to take this opportunity to plug the school I am currently repeating at - North Lake Senior Campus. Friendly as you like, no teasing, no uniform, no institutionalisation and best of all, more education for less money. A bad year 12 (not entirely my fault) and the truly excellent facilities at this school made me choose to repeat year 11 & 12 there.
HOW LONG HAVE I BEEN IN OZ?: Dare I say too long? Since the end of 1986. Too long only because of the heat, a bad dance music scene and waaaaay bad public transport. Otherwise Perth is lovely.
My family and I moved to Tassie in mid-2000 and what a disaster! Lovely scenery and wonderful beer doesn't make a place liveable you know. :)
LOVELIFE STATUS: Availible as I'll ever be.
FAVOURITE FOOD: Seafood.
FAVOURITE DRINK: Clean water.
FAVOURITE QUOTE: It is directed to all those people who go out of their way to make other peoples' lives a misery. "Live and let live."
OTHER:
I haven't mentionned my sight imparement as of yet as I do not think it should be mentionned. I do not see it as a character trait, but sadly so many other people do. I do not see it as a disability, but again others like to put that tag on me. I'd much rather be stuffed up in the eyes than stuffed up in da head like so many people in today's society are. I live a very good and happy life, often forgetting / not caring that I have a so called "disability." The days of being teased and isolated are now well behind me, so I am lovin' it. ("It" being life.)
Strange stuff for a footy based website I know but hey, what's wrong with a bit of personal touch? You get to know about the founding member of this club as a person. Going back to the website, I hope you enjoy the site as much as I have enjoyed creating it. :)
