I have the next bible verse. Read it, contemplate its meaning and post a response.  Take your time and remember, there are no stupid questions or  comments here.  All are welcome.  I especially welcome our brothers and sisters from San Antonio who have joined us in this virtual bible readings.  Gods blessing on all of you.   Here is the link to Mark Chapter 3.

I must say that this Chapter gives us hope. I can see us as a community being summoned to the mount and been given the gifts of the Holy Spirit to fend off demons, heal the sick, cleanse the Lepers of our day, and “with God's will and power”, raise the dead. To do so, we must be obedient to his word and will.

Isn't it sad that many persons who claim to be Christians have that hardness of heart that grieved Jesus in verse five? There are some who don't follow the commandments of God, but instead follow the commandments of the world (Satan)and others who want to glorify themselves because of their gifts. Let it not be with us. If our hearts have become hardened like Pharaoh's in the book of Exodus let us ask God to break through with His Son in union with the Holy Spirit to crush that wall that surrounds our heart and fill it with His love, mercy, forgiveness, compassion, hope, and guidance that we want to live our life according to God's will and not ours. During Holy Week we have the greatest act of love to break our hardened hearts: the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of God's only Son Jesus the Christ!
