Independent silent reading will take place. This should last no more than 20 minutes. While reading, students will add to their word bank and note any examples of sensory description.

Some Students will do their annotated bibliography during this period. The facilitator will rotate and assist with the annotated bibliographies (spelling, grammar, etc.)
