| THANKSGIVING SUNDAY BROWN BAG COLLECTION | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Our Brown Bag It collection in Lent was a great success and we decided to try it again in the Fall. We chose Thanksgiving Sunday as an appropriate day upon which we can offer thanks for all the gifts we have received and share some of those gifts with the less fortunate. We collected over 160 bags for St. Vincent de Paul. On Tuesday, October 9,, with the able assistance of the Grade 7 class, we loaded two pick-up trucks full of the bags. It only took the Grade 7 class 4 minutes to carry all of the bags from the Church to the trucks. Way to go Grade 7!!! Down at St. Vincent de Paul, there were many willing hands to help us unload... |
