Extra Curricular . . .
The Academy also wants to create a solid and friendly environment as well as an academic one. Therefore the school does its best to provide the students with extra curricular activities such as the following.
These sporting activities are catered for:
Gaelic Football, Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Hurling, Table Tennis, Uni - Hoc etc. Senior Gaelic Football and Basketball teams have been successful in reaching the final stages of Leinster school competitions in recent years. School teams in Gaelic Football compete to U14, U16 and U18 levels.
The school also provides the facilities to carry out supervised* evening studies outside school hours. This takes place form 4pm - 6pm on Mondays to Thursdays in the school where a teacher will supervise the students in a classroom for the two hour period.
Other activities include Debating, Chess, Inter- Schools Quizzes and school Tours, as well as participation in National competitions.
