In Limbo

Supposing we were once in love,
And supposing we could love again,
Would you take a chance
At the consequences
And leap over faith to me?

Here I stand endowed and cursed
With insignificant yet biting hopes,
Stinging dreams that will not fade away.
Ive chased the banner through and through,
But the wounds dont heal.

And supposing we were once in lust,
And supposing we could lust again,
Would you take a risk
In a porcelain lifetime,
A defiant moment here with me?

But all in all these thoughts I have
Are trivial and well exhausted.
Just like a tear that never leaves the eye,
Like the wounds that hurt but no longer bleed,
I chase the banner still.
