The Fallen Sister (Tears for Rachel)

Shes the pretty little girl
From the model family.
Shes the shining pearl,
An example to all.
Her sister always has kind words,
Her parents give love and support.
She gathers in the vineyard of the Lord
And has her share of the sweet red grapes,
But its just a cover,
All the cliches of the facade,
The delusion is over,
The myth of the two sided Christian is true.
And behind the upright mask
Lies the maggot infested truth,
And in all its ugliness basks
The fact that none are pure.
Oh you, poor little girl,
How I pray for you and yours.
Oh you, shining little pearl,
How I weep for what youve lost.
That which can never be regained
Yet is sacrificed carelessly
And garments forever stained
By the blood of the sins forged.
Regrets are too little, too late,
My tears do nothing to dent your shell,
Nor do they cleanse the actions I hate,
Nor whiten the scarlet cloth.
My tears fall heavily for you,
But more for humanity
And the loss it has suffered too:
One less pretty, innocent girl.
