You will need to find the following information on your assigned woman:  When and where was she born?  When did she die?  What did this woman do to earn a living?  Why is she still remembered today?  Any "interesting" information you find.

2.  Use a printed encyclopedia to locate the person you are doing research on.  What is the title and copyright date of your encyclopedia? __________________________________________________________________________________

3.  Use one of the almanacs on the front desk to look up your person.  What three topics did you use to look her up? _______________________________

4.  Go the Biographical Dictionaries.  Use the two different books to look up your person.  Was she in one the Biographical Dictionaries?  Yes or No  If yes, write one fact about your person below.
 

5. Use one of the biographies or collective biographies to find more information.  Print the TITLE and author of your BOOK.
